I got genuinely excited, but after watching and having in mind basic physics: - Not everyone is able to drill in their ceiling (I was expecting a STAND) - The whole thing wobbles a lot and would definitely be an annoyance when working on small bits - unnecessarily long horizontal pipe - gives too much leverage and can rip the base plate off the ceiling after couple of weeks - that clamp shape is a fine line between post slipping out and crushing it. Also it moves when trying to clamp it down, so that's an additional frustration - All that hassle when you can spend less on a ready made STAND with adjustable height, handlebar holder, rotating clamp which is more gentle to carbon. And you can move it out of the way in one second, unlike pipes fixed to your ceiling
I dont get this ? Every tyre has a different psi rating written on the tyre ? Obviously your weight may affect the pressure you choose but theres no set rule
Lol it's not three mountain ranges. It's the Appalachian Mountains, of which the blue ridge is a sub range, which is the parent range of the Cohuttas. Also, the Cumberland Plateau extends into extreme Northwest Georgia and that's it's own range. You can also say that the Ridge & Valley is it's own micro range as well.
Thanks for the spicy review! :P Sweet to watch, hot to ride - I am a 174cm fella, inseam 81 so slightly 4cm above avg i think...was looking for a high stack short reach bike - found an M sized 2019 Spicy 5.0 Ultimate...and it is just so so fun - i bought it for cheap with some upgraded components :D as well with some that didn't work :D ...as i bought it couldn't help but rode for 3 hours on flat, stairs and what not...just one of the best days in my life, esp coming after a not well fitted ht bike. Thank you and it fits me great - i adore it flying downhill or pumping it up. Thank you, loving it!
Thank you for this! You are a life saver because i got my daughter shoes like this from Temu lol and i had locked them withoyt realizing it would stsy thay way. Thanks to this video i was able to uptighten them.
Excellent! Best thing about it is that there aren’t any tripod or bipod legs to trip over! Still gripe about having to lift a pretty heavy bike up there and clamp it! How about creating a simple pulley system to hoist the bike up there? Really think the work stands out there in the market place don’t impress me because I just don’t want to lift my bike up and kinda hold it with one hand until the two wheeler is clamped in. Can do it but don’t want to as there’s really hardly anywhere to grab the bike in a way that feels balanced especially if loaded with panniers and other accessories. Came up with a hack that’s really a platform to put the bike on two feet high in front of the work stand. Still have to lift the bike but can place it on the platform right away and both hands are free to get the bike clamped in while my bike leans gently against my upper body. Might set up a ramp to roll the bike up to the right height for clamping. Forget the lifting nonsense.
Has this bike gotten better or worse after these 2 years. And is this bike low rpm because I hear it is a high rpm, like does it feel good pedaling slower?
I've bought one. And sold it. Bought a more modern Trek back instead. Please stop with the dealer in the Netherlands. He had forgotten to tighten the bottom bracket, and the rear brake was full of oli and had shortened my Fox Factory 36 too much. His "company" is called Chikenbikeonline. The place is smaller than a small garage. Too bad this brand is not becoming more popular.
I tested the noise cancellation function and the voice sounds crystal clear... but what do I need to do if I want a video with the motor sounds on... just for a clip maybe taking off or landing as part of bigger video? i have tried but it either records only my voice or mutes every noise around... no motors... I know is silly but how can I enable this back? ANd yest you definitile can fly it manual from your phone or even now with the 8bit mini controller.
Mountain biking is excellent therapy you get that endorphin hit that makes you feel better not to mention the rush you get when you all most kill yourself but ride out of it. You know, one of those close calls where all you can do after is laugh hysterically like The Joker " I almost died." Good times.. Good times. There is a music video about bike therapy by IFHT called " New Bike Day" it is great. I had a two for Tuesday therapy session ( It looks like a session ) I rode all morning then I rode to a labyrinth and walked it in my bare feet. I am one with the universe. 😁
