@@Rock07525 so glad I could help!! The purpose of the saturated Colors around it is like bounce light, but it’s also to make it look less bland! when light hits objects for example, there’s usually orange around the rim too.
@@HaruOkashi I usually do a layer of multiply and use airbrush to erase along the edges except where the shadow starts, if that makes sense. It’s harder to explain so I might make a tutorial on that soon!
0:25 basically she's adding darker strands to the lighter areas to show that some are blocked from.the light (it ads volume) and lighter strands to dark areas because light bounces and those strands may be higher up and not completely in the shadows. This ads volume and makes it look a lot better (depending on what u like) I think it's also a bit more realistic
