Hi FMP, I need your help to direct me on the carburetion of a first series Pinasco cylinder with open side ports as in this video. the chrome is Gilardoni, the V1 version with Mahle piston. both the ports on the crankcase and the piston have been opened. the crankcases have been connected. the cylinder phases are (exhaust 173, side transfers 120, exhaust front 113) the intake phase 114/83. Megadella slx exhaust with 8 rapid1 cones, 19° advance. I'm using a pinasco si26. Very high squish due to the 1st series head. could you direct me on which jets to start on the pinasco si26 er base? I would be grateful. Fabio nb. I found the engine configured like this. Before saving it for another cylinder I would like to test it. I bought the engine like this without a carburetor and I don't know where to start. Thank you from italy
Avevi provato il cilindro sip 200 5 travasi quello nuovo io c e lo lo montato sono contento ma avevo la testa mmw lo montato con la sua originale marchiata usa non mi fido avendo uno squisch a 1.5 come marmitta monto una polini original un carburatore 24/24er racing della pinasco con getto 130 airbox pinasco e filtro maggiorato cosa potrei fare x metergli la testa mmw dimmi magari potrei montarla anche senza altre midifiche dimmi tu alzare di qualcosa la base cilindro ma non vorrei toccare le luci al massimo allargare la luce di scarico ma entrando dalla parte del colletore grazie
habe 2 gebaut. aus 2 serien. da ich neugierig war ob sich was verbessert hat bei all den peinlichkeiren: quasi nein. aktuell: keine ahnung. ich halt mich weit fern von diesem motor. nur nervig. hab noch einen 4sape btw wennd dir einen überlegst. bei Interesse via fb kontaktieren.
I love my T5 , totally standard apart from a sip exhaust, the reason you maybe don't have many kits is because a T5 make all PX look about as quick as a mobility buggy 😂 !! Beats any vespa hands down , looks and speed , not expensive either , what I'd this guy on about ??? Talk about missing the point 🤦🏻♂️
no engine is good and to be recommended where u dont get any decent spare parts and tuning parts. esp when it that bonkers overpriced as a t5. very simple as that 😉 standard vs standard top. no question. as soon as it comes.to service and tuning. its.a very bad choice. any simple px 177cc pnp is faster than every t5 pnp tuning. its simpy not state of the art anymore. was back then maybe. is not anmore for about 20y at least.
Hi MFP. Watching this from the UK. Hope you are well. Do you think,or have you heard if Malossi may introduce a 244 kit...or maybe you could advise them if its possible. The 210 sport seems to be the best available PnP kit but could be brought further up to date. Regards and stay safe👍
thx. even better info: vmc isn working on a 221cc. already testing protos. its gonna be better than sport. no need for a 244 malossi. there is quattrini 244 and the eve. better vmc244 which is aprilia knowhow 😉
8:35 The only spacers for the top I can find in 0,5 is for bigger bore tuning cylinders like Malossi. Is that ok to use with standard bore 200 cylinder and head?
Servus, bei meiner px125 von 2014 ist bei der letzten Fahrt die Drehzahl aufeinmal von alleine ganz hoch geschossen. Luftfilter hatte ich schon herunten und der Gasschieber sieht ok aus - leider aber keine Besserung in Sicht. Hast da irgendwelche Tipps? Schieb sie sonst kommende Woche zum Rollerkabinett..
Hello fmp, have a question about a px200 engine i am building. The cilinder is an aluminium malossi (207) and the problem I have is too much white smoke. Could be the cilinder has to heat up, but I suspect or an oil sucker or bad clutch side seal. What do you think oil sucker or clutch side seal?
Hi FMP, I have a Vespa 200 engine with Malossi 210, big carb, fuel pump etc...I'm having issues with crank oil seals, first one jumped out (no damage thankfully), second one is not sealing, burning 300ml of gearbox oil per 100km. Can you advise on the best seal for the engine? It is powerful (top speed over 140kmh) and spinning at 10,000 rpm+ needs the best. Cheers
