This video is confusing. TOTO is not "discontinuing the entire" Neorest line (0:15). They are replacing several models in the line with new models that have additional features. Edit: Later in the video, he clarifies that the Neorest line is not being "discontinued" but rather upgraded with newer models that have additional features. He got me with a head fake during the intro.
Once buildup has made it's way into your seat it is harder to remedy but the BB-2000 nozzle top can be removed and cleaned. If buildup is blocking up the internal hoses, you could try to open the seat up to detach the hoses and flush them out however, opening your seat up will likely void your warranty so do so at your own risk. Loss of pressure can be caused by more than just buildup as well so it could be an internal part causing pressure loss which would need to be inspected and repaired by the manufacturer.
The S7 remote is red headed stepchild ugly. You also gotta wonder why they don't put bluetooth into the seat and allow you to control if from you phone. In this manner they could push updates out to improve the remote functionality over time.
I love the ultra nova's low profile design and similarly slick remote! Plus the lack of a rim on the lid feels like a feature that so many other models should have but don't.
Who knew I'd be binge-watching butt cleaning videos like they're the latest Netflix series? 🤣 But here I am, courtesy of my mini-me's Pilonidal disease diagnosis. Kids are the ultimate experts at sending parents down weird internet rabbit holes! But seriously, I'm now a connoisseur of all things butt washing, and the Ultra Nova is the crème de la crème. It's like a spa day for your butt. My favorite feature is the hot-cold pulse that gently massages sensitive areas and rhythmic water temperature variations for a soothing experience. With my daughter's upcoming Pilonidal surgery, I'm tempted to get one - or should I say, it's a doctor's order for a bidet?! So, if you need me, I'll be over here, watching videos on the art of butt cleansing... because that's what parenting is all about, right?" But in all seriousness Pilonidal disease is real and this why I’m watching bidet videos as the doctor did recommend a bidet after her surgery. Wish us luck 😊
The sit on lid and the size of the Ultra Nova is a plus along with the quietness without the misting bowl wash of the Toto S7. Will be buying two Ultra Novas ( unless I win one free!)
Man I have been using a bidet for some time now but had no idea that they had options for this many features. Having internal sterilizing for the water built in seem incredible.
Researching these for my mother, and myself traveling Japan, Indonesia, and London, I grew so intrigued by bidets. I recall my first time in Japan and scared to use the contraception with so much to offer. You will find handheld all over when traveling. Inexperienced, I decided not to try or make a mess with those first ones in Japan. I regretted that decision as years passed. I would LOVE the ultra with the enema option. It has to be amazing to have that over a bag hanging in your shower. ..So much curiosity. In hopes to help others as well as see what it’s capable of doing. My friends who are MD’s talk on and on about enemas. (They will not talk about this subject in any other manner.) My late-father was a plumber his whole life. I wish he could see these today. I know we would have great conversations about this. Thank you for your videos on RU-vid. You have the best ones I’ve found the last few years. It’s been difficult getting RU-vid to show newer videos when searching. I finally had this one suggested after trying to search here.
It's a great video, but this product seems stupidly complicated. Is there a bidet for this toilet that *doesn't* add an electric component? aside from not having access to power near a toilet, I'm also not going to stick 13A in a toilet seat...
Sure, you could check out the Saniwise non-electric elongated bidet seat or the Go-bidet attachment. Both are solid products that do not require electricity. Feel free to reach out to us if you would like more information.
The remote control seems to have two replaceable panels on the top. The one on the left has 3 buttons under the panel and the one on the right has 2. I believe one on the left is for light flush, full flush and auto flush. If you have a 2-flush system toilet how can you get the replacement panel for the remote to be able to use both types of flush on the remote?
I love the elegancy of this bidet! This looks like one of the most comfortable seats! I have never owned a bidet but have used one at a buddy’s house and absolutely fell in love! Just bought a house and would love to have one of these in it fingers crossed
Great question! These units will add about 1.5" to the seated height of your toilets bowl. If you are looking for more, than Drive Medical makes a compatible riser with removeable arms. We're happy to provide more information on it, please chat with us via our website or send us an email at Support@manybidets.com and we will get you the information on the exact one we've tested.
My favorite features are the auto-opening as well as the auto-flushing…! 😊 The reason is…… Just because it’s soo awesome!! 😂 😜 I mean, of course there are a lot of interesting features that are crazy like the warming seat and air drying?! 😂 But I mean… If I could afford it, the auto-opening and auto-flushing are just so cool and over the top! 😁 I don’t mean that I just want to impress people or something, but these are the kinds of features that are just hilarious and fun to talk/joke about! 😁 😜
I'm excited to see that the Nova seats are so low profile giving them a great appearance and comfort yet maintaining great functionality and durability.
Look folks with all the garbage thats city water has, I would think that the majority of folks would want a quality filter (probably carbon) that removes chemicals such as pfas, chlorine, chloramines and ect. from the city water before spraying such a sensitive area of your body.
26:48 Is the warranty information for the Eco Nova and Ultra Nova correct on this slide? I thought these had 4 and 3 year warranties, not the 2 and 1 shown on the slide.
The Eco Nova is the one on my radar, but only because the Ultra Nova and Toto are out of my price range. I have severe colitis, and my doctor recommended a bidet with some sterilization aspects for even I end up getting the inevitable surgery, and those are my three favorite models. Whichever we end up with, it'll be our first time even so much as using a bidet! The Ultra Nova's more comfortable seat for larger people, and its sleek look are both nice bonuses!
Look likes that it will auto clean every 8 hours(it's wand cleaning). It's so annoying at night when you sleep(Even no one is using it). Is there a way to disable this function at night? Day time is ok.
Bidet nozzles are usually constructed from plastic, aluminum or stainless steel. Plastic nozzles are the most common, and they’re found on budget friendly and luxury bidets alike. On the plus side, plastic nozzles are the cheapest to manufacture. On the other hand, plastic is weaker and more porous than metal (the more porous a material, the easier it is for microbes to linger). This doesn’t mean plastic nozzles are unhygienic or won’t hold up, but it does mean that they are more likely to crack or harbor microbes compared to their aluminum and stainless steel cousins. Aluminum nozzles are the middle-of-the-road option. Aluminum is stronger and less porous than plastic, but it’s more porous than stainless steel and also isn’t as resistant to breakage or corrosion. Even so, aluminum nozzles are likely to hold up well, and they’re less expensive than stainless steel. Stainless steel is considered to be the “gold standard” for nozzles due to its strength, durability, and low porosity. In other words, compared to aluminum and plastic, stainless steel nozzles are the easiest to keep clean and have the lowest chance of breaking, cracking or corroding. Hope this information helps! Thank you for watching!!
I just installed a new toilet, but the lid that came with it has a lip that cuts into my back. It looks like the Ultra Nova would solve that issue along with all the added features of a bidet.
You could do either, or a little of both. That really comes down to personal preference along with trial and error of what works best for you. Thank you for watching!
We are building a house and looking forward to having bidet toilets for the first time. Heated water and a comfortable seat are really important to us. We like that the UltraNova has a flat back!
Excellent video! Currently in the market for a bidet and the feature most excited about is the auto flush and automatic open/close lid. Not having to touch the toilet flusher would be a bonus to reduce transferring of germs.
@@Msenlightened1 There are a select few bidets that offer enema wash. While it is not like a standard enema, a bidet's enema wash is a thin, narrow stream with strong pressure that can mimic an enema to break up constipation and stimulate a bowel movement.
Had a bidet a year ago and recently moved to a home without one and I’m hoping to change that really soon. I’m really excited about how far they’ve come and that you can have a warm seat and automatic flushing. 😍
Although we don't have a video comparing the different Washlet options, you can see come comparison details on our blog post here: www.manybidets.com/blog/toto-washlet-bidet-seats-neorests/
We are in the market for a bidet and I’ve been doing so much research. This video was so helpful, so thank you! I’m looking forward to a few features offered by the Ultra Nova, one being the wide wash cleaning feature and two being how sanitary it seems to be.
I like the Ultra Nova best as the seat size is important for me. A lid I can sit on and varied types of water sprays and good pressure range are also very important. Warranty length and RF remote are a plus!
Daniel helped me find our Brondell that I bought in 2018! His customer service , pricing, and advice are unrivaled in this day and age!! I can't recommend his family owned company high enough!!🎉❤
I like the fact that the Ultra Nova remote is much more straight forward. I dont need a bidet remote that looks like the dashboard of a 747 airliner. I also like the fact that the seat is much more comfortable. The bidet's number one task is to be a seat, so why not comfortble.
Nearly every Asian home has a 'bum gun', as do all hotels in Asia...how come nobody ever talks about that...??? It's cheap to install and very efficient, plus it requires very little cleaning. Cheers

I was looking at the S7A to replace my S350e but I've started to realize how small and tall the seating area on the seat is and it looks like the Ultra Nova has a a much better seat so I'm excited about that. It might be a good idea comparing the size and shape of the actual seat as well in the videos. But either way, great video! I'll definitely buy from you guys if I do buy one because of the great information you give!
Unfortunately, Toto does not have a shorter T-Valve option. They have an extender that drops the inlet lower (9AU321-A) but their specialty T-Valve cannot be shortened.
