Talk Art records artist interviews and promotes local artists in Silicon Valley who show at the annual SVOS shows during the first 3 weekends in May. The host, Sally Rayn, is an award winning artist and videographer. She received the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation Individual Artist support grant in 2011 and has won multiple Western Access Video Excellence WAVE awards for her video art, her work with students and and for episodes of Talk Art. Nance Wheeler, the producer of Talk Art, shows her paintings at the Gallery House in Palo Alto and with the Los Altos Art League. Both artists show at various locations during the Silicon Valley Open Studios tour.
That's really cool.....but i have a question: how do you fix that print when it's dry....don't you get normal clay- dust back that did not adhere to the paper? Thanks very much for answering😊💫🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Love her work but you interuppted her when she was about to do the flowers !!so annoying and the camera person did not do a good job showing her brush work!! Where can I see more demos of her teqnique?
i loved your demonstration and thoughtful explanation of your processes in creating your encaustic pieces. Thank you for wonderfully well spent half hour learning and expanding my knowledge 💙💞💙
We are lucky to have one of Gary's Triptychs and another piece hanging in our living room. We love his paintings, but another contributing factor for picking his art is the artist himself - he has such a great and king personality!
Excellent demo and interview. Wish I could work with Jeannine Calcagno! Sitting in India, it’s a blessing to be able to learn through such insightful interviews.
Uma breaks down her art so well. I love the way she composes her page...her nightscapes are phenomenal cos her contrasting colours really makes the scene pop 💜
Jeannine is very talented. I wish the host had not rushed her through her demo's. This video could have easily been twice as long and left the viewers wanting.
Hi My MOST beautiful Holy little daughter❤ together forever eternity. LOVE infinity 🕯 My 🕊 i can't wait for u to draw My wounds in ur Heaven!!! Uve gotten better on earth :) i Love u DeiBy 🙋God❤. This is a very good overview of colored pencil techniques considering that it was done in 2014. There are new techniques that have come out since then, but this is still a good overview.
Thank you. That was the most informative presentation I have seen about the process on encaustics I have been able to review. I have been reading all that I can and watching all sorts of videos and nothing has come close to the information you provided. Now I know why my first three pieces failed.
Wonderful my dear friend, as vibrant as ever! I just love the joy and the sun transmited by your painting. Planting the atmospheric energy! love you, Lyne
