Ironically, if the original manga for Duel Masters had a story like this, the card game probably would have never been made and it would stayed a manga about Magic the Gathering.
Coming back to Kaijudo, I enjoy this campy lil snack of a show. I also realized that aside from Tatsurion using his rockets sparingly, it could also have to do with the fact that he's technically a criminal in the Fire Realm, and getting more ammo is difficult when nobody likes you.
Anybody ever notice the difference in how the monsters come forth willingly for the kaijudo masters and for the chotin and his clique they just forcible pull them out
This proves to be an advantage since the ones on the heroes side are loyal and won't turn on them while the INSTANT the Choten's forces lose control, the Creatures will turn on them.
I mean it sorta makes sense. Water Civ creatures seem to be divided into two camps: Sea Monsters, and futuristic tech stuff. Gargle seems to firmly be in the tech camp, although there's definitely creatures that fit both
