Not a fan of how they would celebrate the 25th anniversary of Soul Hackers instead of the (soon to be) 30th anniversary of Devil Summoner. That's like celebrating the 15th anniversary of Persona 3 or the 20th anniversary of Nocturne.
Between this and the smt5 track its really interesting to see how kozuka has evolved from making straight synthewave bangers to legitimately experimental and challenging stuff. Looking forward to seeing what he does in the future, anazing composer
although these videos aren't a perfect representation of how it sounds in-game (they're rips from a site called Zophar's Domain - the tracks are definitely a bit more echoey in-game), yes, there is a tiny, tiny difference. as an example, you can notice the slight variation in 2D Field in these following videos. the main noticeable difference being the harsher piano notes in the PS1 version (i have 0 clue on musical terminology). @@fallentianshi7044 Ah I see. So basically the SS 2D Field theme uses reverb while the PS1 version loses that and adds more isolation. To put it another way, SS 2D Field is more echo-ey while PS1 is not. And yes, the 3DS port is basically the same as Sega Saturn
