I'm a former metal head and decided to do a search for Christian metal and found this at the top of the list. Thank you guys for honoring our Savior with your gifts! Keep it goin'!
Heyy Guys! You make really great covers, gotta say. But would you consider to make a version of this Song without the metal "screamy" voice? 😅 Just like your Cover of "I will follow"... That would be really really nice :)) God bless!
@@veneranthearts1159I understand that some people would want no screaming, but for me personally it's definitely making the song a lot better for me 😎😁
Hey @Readthebible33 (Amen to that btw, we do not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God) Not sure what the difference would be sound wise, lyrics of course are different. But it's a genre, its a style. Worldly jazz and Christian jazz sound the same. Worldly contemporary rock and Christian rock sound the same. It's the spirit behind the music, it's the lyrical content. Now... I do not recommend it for congregational worship at all. Why? Because it's a niche, its not commonly enjoyed. It's a music that has a setting, time and place.
And the thing is, we all see that too. The worldly metal that we gave up does not glorify God, but that worldly metal glorifies sin and death, and the people making that music are God hating monsters, just like it says in Romans 3, but this metal was made by God fearing men, to take back this music, which God created for good pleasures of having joy in worship to HIM! Don't miss the point brother. 🙏🏻✝️
Psalm 96 King James Version 96 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. 2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. 3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. 4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. 6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. 8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. 9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. 10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
I’d love to hear ‘years I spent in vanity and pride’ always thought that would slap as a metal version. This is fantastic though. Love the little nod to screamo in there. Brilliant!
