They will never be given the info that he wants. I think the vast majority of UAPs are secret govt projects. Its becoming harder to keep these things secret, as there are no so many cameras and things in the air. That is why I think the govt is almost pushing us to believe more in UAPs and releasing some information and videos, its to throw the public and other govts off the trail. I'm certainly open to Aliens visiting us and wouldnt be shocked but do to the magnitude of something like that, it would almost require them landing on the white house lawn and walking out and waving to us for there to be total belief.

For the most part we began our questions based on our built-in biased conclusions and assumptions. We have overlooked what is the essence of life. Life is perhaps something that is not a end or beginning of which it decides to become. Life needs to have a creator, it cannot self exist because it will lack the source that makes it become what it was designed to be. Thus life needs a designer and something to give it life. Therefore the obvious is that life cannot accidentally exist on it's own. Try finding life where God did not place life outside of earth, good luck with that.

We are not alone in the manner in which most people think. Not to sound overly religious, but God, his angels, heaven, demons, and other creatures that inhabit his presence do count as life outside of earth and beyond.

Hearing how incredibly sophisticated the universe is is in itself more proof that there is a God/super being that created everything or set everything in motion (however you want to put it) and that simply a big bang from NOTHING and NOWHERE everything, how the universe and what's in it, was simply created by random from nothing is not just impossible but completely illogical.

Dark matter is already moving faster than the speed of light so we need to figure out how to ride on top of that.

It can only get us going the speed of light. A gravitational wave moves at the apeed of light. So we cant use it to go faster.

the "color" that we associate with stars is it's temperature. Blue being the hottest, Red being the coolest, and white being in the middle. It has nothing to do with light emitted, as that light is only ever white. Hence no "green" stars.

What an ending to already relatable human experience. Regret of opportunity cost is something we've all experienced as human life is so short with limited resources, whether it be deciding to pursue a career and put motherhood/parenthood on pause, or vice versa, there's always an opportunity cost due to our literal biological clocks and availability of resources. It is so humbling yet so human weather you're a fisher man in an underdeveloped country or Jeff Bezos. On top of that the last bit about having your work torn apart into the abyss of lost ambition. Sometimes that creative energy is hard to evoke again years later. One of my first undergrad classes was poetry, only because it was the only available elective left for a new freshman. If anything I wanted music theory to satisfy the arts elective, not poetry. It was the best thing to experience so early in academia: You write your heartfelt emotions onto paper and it gets torn to bits by everyone in the class who's not one bit as good of a writer and also can't understand your feelings. On top of that the Prof. has the final say when they grade you, really destroying your pride and literally hurting your feelings. To have the fortitude to come back and dig up that creative muse for a project like this is absolutely worth the so called privilege, which in turn has quantifiable hours of hard work to afford the resources to it. Thanks for putting this one out there for us, the 13 year length and expressed regret only amplifies what resilience the human spirit has inside all of us.

I think the biggest problem is Mass the amount of energy required is infinite to the power of infinite..The energy required to propel the spacecraft is impossible to achieve for humans at least at this stage .. we humans have never seen anything that travels at the speed of light other than neutrino photon etc mainly atomic or subatomic particles... Anything that has mass in Tons and Tons of weight when it gets accelerated to the speed of light will immediately burn to ashes in the first point E=mc2 over here mass is in Atleast 1000 tons how come humans will even have the energy to propel something at that speed nuclear fusion , plasma i don't even consider these to achieve something this behemoth...

but if I travel back in time and don't send myself a message or my past self doesn't recieve it , then there is no paradox. Theres a million reasons a message isn't recieved or sent. If your e going to travel back in time then your future is in the past, therefore your future already happened. To assume backwards time travel creates paradoxes assumes free will can overcome the laws a physics but we all know that can't happen. If it's possible to travel back in time, it would be like being in a VR simulation where every scene is alraedy set but you don't know how it will play out.

I've watched and rewatched this video so many times. I love it. Thank you for the hard work that goes into making this and your other videos. I just have one lingering issue...how is it possible that instantaneous comms is sent and received at two different points in time (19:16). I understand that is what relativity states but practically, that just cannot be possible. According to the "slicing" of space relative to the ship, the message is received before it is sent which is then not instantaneous. I'm not trying to be semantic about the graphic here, but if it is an accurate representation then we must not understand it fully. What am I missing?

Not sure why this old video suddenly gets recommended to me, but I feel loads of unsubstantiated assumptions are made in this video. One you get back to over and over again, the qualifier of conscious beings in the simulation. What is conscious? The way I look at it, consciousness is just an emerging property, nothing special. If you take that position, any simulation will do and we have loads of them in all kinds of shapes and forms. I really don't see how our reality is fundamentally different from the simulations we use to research self organizing principles. These simulations show over and over again that a few very simple rules can give rise to the complex behaviors we see in our reality. There are loads of papers published about it. To me it looks our reality is exactly that. Based on my understanding of science we have a dozen or so elementary particles, some simple rules how they interact and a hand full of fundamental constants of nature. Throw those in a program and run it to see what happens. The big bang, or some point before, could be the booting process and all the rest could be running the simulation and seeing how things self organize and give rise to complexity. Us being a simulation can be an explanation for the fact that our world is quantized, that everything can be mathematically described etc.

FTL travel not existing would be the biggest waste of an entire universe in the entire universe..all those planets stars and galaxies and knowing that we would only ever be able to look and not touch is extremly sad.

So if the signal came from he closest sun that's 4 light years thats 40,000 years in their past compared to us so it would be safe to say maybe that was a last ditch effort to reach out before they died out. Hell we've only been around maybe 10 to 15000 years and look at us were on the verge of antihalation
