Welcome to the RU-vid page of Orlando Music! Here I post mainly videos with musical content that are based in the Orlando, Florida area. Most of the music is sacred, mainly in the context of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Enjoy!
This text IS NOT identical to that found in the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. Therefore, I assume this church is a formerly Anglican/Episcopalian congregation in communion with the Vatican.
What frustrates me about the liberals is that they don't understand that the reason the priest has his back to us is that he is praying on our behalf. And the translation of what he is saying is in front of us. So it's not like anything is being hidden. And don't even get me started on the absurd and annoying aspects of gender inclusive BIBLEs.
"ragtag singing"? This is a beautiful piece and here, sung/played, marginally. You need to take your time with it and play it/sing it without the chop as done here.
This is not the hymn In Fatima's Cove. This is the Lourdes Hymn composed in 1873 by French priest Jean Gaignet for pilgrims arriving in Lourdes. Americans call this hymn Immaculate Mary. Here is a link to In Fatima's Cove, aka The 13th of May (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-konWhV5pJCM.html) which was composed in 1929 by Portuguese poet Alfonso Lopez Veira. It's a completely different hymn, composed well after the Lourdes Hymn..
An ancient influenced liturgy open to participation in the common peoples tongue. That's what dr Taylor Marshall should have defined it as. Not just a " better Novus ordo".
I have been a very bad sinner, and I am very worried about my death, and the judgment that I have imposed upon myself…I beg and beseech Almighty God to have mercy on my soul..I do not want to send myself to hell
Today is our school's living rosary, but it got cancelled because of a thunderstorm. So i love to hear it today, even though im a baptist. I love your hymns
I always notice that the churches with the most traditional liturgy are always standing room only, in contrast to the hip "with it" parishes with their folk masses, etc., where most of the pews are empty.
I'm not, I've been working as music director at St. Francis of Assisi since then. Even if I did return to attending Incarnation, I'm not sure if I would resume video recording.
Glory be to God on high, and on earth peace, good will towards men. We praise thee, we bless thee, we worship thee, we glorify thee, we give thanks to thee for thy great glory, O Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father Almighty. O Lord, the Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ; O Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, that takest away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us. Thou that takest away the sins of the world, receive our prayer. Thou that sittest at the right hand of God the Father, have mercy upon us. For thou only art holy; thou only art the Lord; thou only, O Christ, with the Holy Ghost, art the Most High in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
