I love the variety of homes and areas you show us. This penthouse is amazing, but not for me, lol. Thank you for your videos- much appreciated and great delivery style too! 😊👍
Prairie Ridge, right in-between both, no city rules etc. Mansfield is too crowded, roads are insufficient. Midlo is an easy toll free drive now also that 35 is finished.
I've come to terms with the fact that American builds aren't my cup of tea. West Coast builders, on the other hand, showcase a more aesthetically pleasing and world-class approach. Despite the hefty price tag on this spacious house, the finishes are a letdown. The brick exterior is unattractive, though the stone accent is a redeeming factor. The doors are unsightly, but the flooring is commendable. The oversized windows, while letting in ample light, miss the mark on aesthetics. And really, ceiling fans in 2024? They feel outdated and out of place in modern homes.
And that listing sold in less than a week for more than asking price. I appreciate your support on the channel. Hopefully YT will start showing my videos again.
@@TheDallasRealEstateChannel It would be nice to be along for a walk or drive through some areas of interest. It would also be interesting to hear from locals where they prefer to shop, eat out and how their kids feel about their schools. It might make it harder to choose between the two areas but it will give an opportunity to compare the results of feed back in each category.
I live in Midlothian, and we are growing fast. It is a nice little town, and most of the residents don't mind a 15-minute drive to mansfield or waxahachie for retail. Hope this helps
@@TheDallasRealEstateChannelwow so is this good or bad ? Do you think they will build more in the area this makes me change my mind I was about to buy a home there but it does look like it’s nothing to do there it looks boring
@@SanMiguel860 I didn't want to just have an argument with one of my viewers. While there's industrial outside of the community, I still like the area a lot bc it's not far from shopping and dining. Now how much Mansfield will develop that intersection over the next 3-5 years is the question. I utilize the Mansfield economic development corp maps to keep up with projects. mansfieldtx.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Shortlist/index.html?appid=4f76013be8574ec9be883256acebaea9
Hmm...I don't know about this one. At that price I expect a lot more. This developer is a chancer asking all that for this. Looks like it was just made to sell. What a shame!
Pools, parks, playgrounds, fishing, ponds, a beach, basketball, courts, tennis courts, 100 community events throughout the year. I’m not sure what more they could add.
@@TheDallasRealEstateChannel How about good workmanship?? How about curb appeal?? How about not cutting corners?? Everything you listed in your response was an amenity. I'm talking about the actual house! Speaking as someone who has purchased 3 homes this house I would not give a second look. The absence of character and quality workmanship makes it feel like a generic warehouse rather than a place worth considering for a home.
@@user-tp6rx5bb5u I see. You said developer. Developers create communities. So I think you meant ‘builder’. As far as MI Homes goes. They’re one of the new kids on the block and this is very close to their entry level. There’s nothing in the video to indict them for cutting corners though. Maybe you don’t like the curb appeal though. I get that. Everyone has different preferences, but this traditional-modern style of brick exteriors is popular in North Texas. Where are you from if you don’t mind me asking?
I like the clip where you said DR Horton is a pretty good builder, and quality varies by region. You hear a lot of people say they’ll never buy a DR Horton or Lennar home, but if you’re buying a starter home (sub-$300k) in DFW, they’re just about your only options. A DR Horton/Lennar may not be your forever home, but it’ll set you up in the next 5-10 years to move up to a nicer home.
I did it myself. Built ours for $185k in W. Frisco TX back in 2011. They usually build in up and coming locations. So I did extremely well when I sold 7 years later. Walked away with $100k to put down on my next house.
