cream pomade. I messaged them 9 months ago and so did others on their ig post and they said they would be dropping this pink hard cream pomade again in couple of weeks, however they didn’t and it’s been 8 months lol. 😂💀

So I hate when people tell me to hold something at a certain angle. That’s just dumb as fuck. Like what am I supposed to get out my protractor? I don’t know how to eyeball 30 degrees! JUST FUCKING SHOW ME HOW THE BLADE SHOULD BE RESTING AGAINST MY FACE!
This seems pretty time consuming. I’m usually in a rush in the morning, and the time required to shave properly exceeds the time I have to shave. Maybe I’ll switch to double edge razors when I’m retired and don’t have to be anywhere.
i personally just shave with water and the double edge razor. it works just as good. i shave in the shower or just wet my face quickly and shave. but at the same time i never go against the grain, i only shave with the grain because a super close shave isn't that important to me. i just have really thick coarse beard hair and cartridge razors struggle to cut it in one pass, while the DE does it first try.
First time using a safety razor after only using electric razors and this video helped me so much. Had no ingrown hairs irritation or bumps and had the closest shave I’ve ever had.
Just get a Mach 3. 5 o’clock shadow became a phrase cause of these razors. You’re oddly saving MORE money with the modern type. I’ll never use one of these again
Just bought a safety razor for the first time. Started off okay until I got to my dreaded neck area and ended up with loads of razor burn and small cuts. The guys in these videos make it look so easy, but I'm gonna keep trying as this was only my first attempt. Hopefully this video will help. Thanks! 30 years old in May and still I haven't mastered the art of shaving. 😂
@@adamjanek3511 best thing I ever did changing to this razor dude. I have had razor burn occasionally but that has been greatly reduced, and generally only happened if I went over the area more than once/applied too much pressure. Best thing to do is follow the grain of your hair and try to only go over the area once in small strokes with this. For instance the hair on my adams apple grows upwards until I get about half way up my neck and it goes in the opposite direction. Buy yourself Grüum danne soothing shave gel I found this paired with it well and was kind to my skin. You will be a changed man after using this for a few weeks I promise! Good luck and enjoy shaving 👍
20 here and about to try mine for the first time. Strange how older hygiene products are making a resurgence when stores mainly stock the plastic multiblades
@@adamjanek3511don’t shave against the grain on your neck and try just going with the grain on your neck I can’t shave against the grain on my neck with any razor
Even though I have a beard. And a nice one as well I still like to watch videos of men shaving their face for some reason. Benefits of a beard. .You look more masculince .It's cool to stroke .You feel manly .No Razors bumps .No cuts .You save a small fortune on razors, blades and cream. Let your face grow have a look on how much you like it. 🧔♂️🧔♂️
you didn’t point out that the blade height on a safety razor such as the one in the vid is adjustable. Learning optimum blade height is important as well.
A video with this much information in less than 3 minutes! Bravo. Worth noting, your blades will last longer with the short strokes directed at the base of the hair, not dragging over the top of it which makes for a lot of cutting and re-cutting. Feather brand razor blades are high quality and very sharp, great for coarse and or thick hair. Just be careful around bumps and angles till it’s a little dulled from use. I get about 4-5 shaves from one blade.
how did i get fooled by gillette or schick into buying them trashy cartridge razors thinking it was better than a classic double edge? OH RIGHT, MARKETING! you know if it wasn't for gillette telling me how much i was a POS i wouldn't have discovered double edge shaving!
I have extremely thick, straight hair (Asian). I have a hard time keeping it back, and from revealing the part down the middle- I am looking for something that will really hold it rock solid, especially out in the sun (pomade tends to melt with the heat). Is this a good fit?
Cheers. I started slow, but learnt quickly I could speed up abit and ended up with a great shave and no cuts. First time is done, now on with practice makes prefect
If you're like me and have sensitive skin I recommend a cold cloth or rubbing ice cubes on your face beforehand. I actually find the cold tends to lead to a better shave and no razorburn.
Washing my face with ice cold water and regular soap worked wonders for me. No burns, no bumps, no ingrown hairs, not even a pimple, which have been a problem for me. Weird, considering the general advice is the exact opposite of this. Just sharing.
So, I just bought one today because the old guy at the store told me to give it a try. Best $25 I ever spent and the refills for it are only $3 for a pack of 50. Closet shave I have ever got by my own hand.
