@ I made the mistake of leveling up to about level 35 (I wanted to unlock all the weapons and get a feel for them), before moving up in gnosis. It seems like gnosis acts more like a difficulty multiplier. I’m running into issues with burning through ammo and having to portal out halfway through. I’ll probably have to make the jump to gnosis 2 so I can buy ammo bags.
In the case of the Gatekeeper, you have to destroy 2 skulls, blue and red, usually one is in front of the Gatekeeper and the other behind. The Gatekeeper changes colors, and in order not to take damage, you have to catch the timing and shoot the blue skull when the Gatekeeper is blue and the red skull when the Gatekeeper is red Regarding the ammo issue, maybe you should take another look at the merchant :)
just found your videos after completing all achievements for witchfire, its a steep learning curve but seems as though you are figuring it out quick. I'd be happy to help you out if you want.
I recorded the next 2 videos today, and including the update they did...I experienced A LOT of new stuff in the next 2 videos and got my ass handed to me a couple times. I freaking love the game though
This game isn't hard at all it's rather fun compared to the souls series. If you're finding this hard I think your a crappy gamer. Either that or you just suck.
The souls series is probably my favorite game trilogy out there. I agree this game is nothing compared to dark souls, but they are also two completely different games and have different gameplay styles, so I'm not sure comparing them is really a fair comparison, but I agree I suck. But that's part of the fun.
I know it's been 2 days since this was posted, but I'm gonna drop some knowledge on you because Witchfire is my current obsession: -The Cricket is the most aggressive weapon in the game. Backing away from your enemies actively puts you at a disadvantage. Always be up close and aggressive with your play when using it. -The first mysterium you unlocked on the cricket means that you get more witchfire from killing enemies with it. It's a great farming tool if you want to get powerful faster. -Your abilities cool down during combat. Every time you get witchfire from enemies (the red, wispy trails that come off of dead enemies) those contribute to the cooldown of your light spell, your heavy spell, and your charged melee. -Shotguns and snipers use both ammo AND stamina to fire, meaning that you're leaving yourself at sort of a disadvantage with them. You'll need to be dashing often to survive, and those are tricky to use properly without more stamina than you currently have. -Every time you level up, the maps reshuffle. This was confirmed by the devs. Increasing your stats is a good thing (I would suggest healing, which gives you more slots to hold elixirs, stamina, and faster spell cooldown to start), but it will change what you can expect every expedition. -The fires you see on your map in the starting area are hints to solving a puzzle inside the tower. Make sure to unlock those and look at them closely, as following them in order will lead you down the right path. -Research heavy spells. You'll get one called Ice Sphere, which is incredibly helpful in sooooo many situations. -You will get a relic called "Madwoman's Eye" or "Eye of a Madwoman." It'll seem really helpful at the beginning, but it will essentially steal your kills, making leveling up weapons take waaay longer.
That is a lot of information. I actually haven't played again yet, since I won't be recording again until this weekend, so this will definitely come in handy.
I bought this game two days ago and I've already got ten hours or so into it. The roguelike game loop is very satisfying. I even unlocked a hand cannon that suits my compulsive reloading habit. Because the bullets stay in your targets, and then explode when you reload. I love it so much. I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but that blocked off hallway leads to where you can get your Gnosis levels.
Sorry about the weird pixelation/glitchy artifacts going on in the intro. I tried a new rendering method and it did that. I will no longer be using that rendering method
Nice! Have you heard of a game called The Indigo Parallel? it is a weird horror game I think you will like it. I'm new here so I also sub'd to your channel! :)
That guy in the closet maybe he ot she is trying to help you to COME BACK TO REALITY Tbh my instincts is trying to tell me i need to punch her to death
Actually looks like a good game especially for two devs. Also if you haven't already played it yet, Poppy Playtime chapter 2 is pretty good. I remember you playing chapter 1 on stream and it was fun to watch!
I was shocked to see only two names in the credits. And Poppy Playtime has been on my To-Do list, just haven't got around to it. I might do it closer to when Chapter 3 is coming out, we will see.
I was watching your vid, I greatly enjoyed it. I was watching your video and I fully believed that you would have had far more likes and views. I am amazed with what you have been able to produce here and can see major potential (though I have only watched other videos and not made any) I am non the less impressed. I also hope you read these words so you don't give up on you dream, as you are gifted and talented.
great work also, fun fact: one of the cuts mutants for stalker 2 2011 was the log mutant A damp, half-rotten log, inside which is a fragment of a human face with one eye and an upper jaw. The body is devoid of hair, epidermis, muscles and tendons are exposed. The muscle tissue is partially torn and hangs from the monster's body like tow. No traces of sepsis are observed. It has, apparently, four limbs used as legs, two more, presumably for attack; also has a number of underdeveloped auxiliary limbs. Fragments of bark of considerable size are attached to the four supporting "snags" by means of connective tissue, with the help of which the log is masked. When calm, is in a folded state with an open eye. At the moment of the attack, it "unfolds" and with the first four limbs tries to overtake the enemy, and with the other two - to attack if you want to see the concept art there's the link the post i got the info from: www.reddit.com/r/stalker/comments/mhs4i3/lost_to_the_zone_day_3_cut_mutants_of_stalker/ there's also a bunch of other concept art for another cut mutant of stalker 2 (2011) as well in the post
Do you guys like the quick cut editing like this video has? Or would you rather this series be a lot slower paced with less cuts and just show everything without much editing? Let me know!
