a lot of it looks like Montana or BC Canada and Okanagan. not a lot of guys can shoot over 1000 yards good job. some people are just good at shooting my first time hunting open sights 425 yards neck shot dropped like a rock.
Coming from an avid hunter and scout sniper who has experienced hunting man and beast, all I have to say is don't get sucked into this crazy crap. The chances are that at ranges over 500 yards you will most likely wound that animal to never be found, and I absolutely will not shoot at any game animal farther than 500 yards in absolutely calm wind conditions from a prone position. This is coming from a professionally trained sniper. Hunting these beautiful animals deserves the utmost respect. Just seeing someone who has not been professionally trained shooting at these distances is pure D bullshit for the beautiful animals we hunt. Whoever has these kids shooting at our game animals doesn't care enough about the animals to teach them how to be a good hunter to begin with.
I see this video again after four years and I still hate the video and the uploader so much. That Mr Ulrich thought this would look good or cool is beyond me, but the money he has gotten from the 7.5 millions of views of spine shot animals (Meaning the shooter had an accuracy of 1.5-3 feet since you always aim for the largest target, the heart/lungs when long range hunting) and animals shot in non-vital organs (Check the bear at 1:24 and see where that bullet hits, halfway from nose to tail and close to the absolute back of the animal without the spine being destroyed since the bear can use his hind legs well and run away. It's extremely unlikelythat that bear was recovered in the usual sense of the word - perhaps it was recovered, ie found after a month dead of an infection in the bullet wound or found years later dead of old age, but that bullet did not kill it within even eight hours, except if it by pure luck the bullet hit a larger blood vessel. The first minute also shows a couple of shooters and all but one (The first one) does not practice the most basic long range shooting technchques or have severe problems with their techque (Bipod jump left), and one girl has the worst flinch I've ever seen. But the money makes it worth it I guess. The moral status of this guy is the same as a chinese man who skins a cow in a slaughterhouse that's not dead yet. Most of these people in this video shoudl not shoot, without support, at a target more than 100 yards away. I am a hunter and long range shooter and have taken game at long ranges and shot many tens of game (I am still not very old). Politically I am part of the radical right and If I could decide I would put as many liberals in concentration camps as necessary, and put economic migrants in Gulag style camps until they return voluntarily, to get a sane society back (That means the "progress" of the last 100 years, except the technological progress of course, gets shredded ans replaced with something better. I have a lot of solidarity with fellow whites all over the world, and enjpoy eating meat and will never voluntariy eat insect-derive food or fake meat or soy. despise liberals, and that includes so called conservatives in the US and members of so called center-right parties in Europe.
People shouldn't condone or praise this guy teaching his children to shoot animals at this distance. It's not an ethical kill even if it would have dropped dead on the spot.
How perverse to shoot a living animal over a distance like that. That have nothing to do with hunting, that is nesty and prove how sick some humans are....
Setting up a bait pile, with wind flags leading to your shooting benches? We’re suppose to take you seriously? Boating bears allows for the best management of the large boars that eat cubs and kill sows. It also allows for a reasonably close, ethical shot. What you’ve done is set up for target practice that has gruesome consequences when your shot goes slightly awry. I hunt bears in the NW Montana. I understand the need for the ability to confidently shoot 400 yards across a drainage because the forests in between are too thick to effectively move in on a bear. But shooting at bears off of a bait pile at extreme long range because you can, not because you have to, is foolishness and shows a reckless disregard for our shared wildlife resource.
And sorry, another observation. If you hunt with a bait and then shoot from 1000 yards it means you looked for a long shot on purpose. Just wait closer to the bait..
The girl at the beginning closed her eyes before firing. Wtf. Don't let someone who is not able to follow the basics of shooting shoot to a living animal.
Это зачем показывать , я сам охотник но убийство животного смотреть по любому не очень приятно , да еще когда бабы убивают , неприятно , маньяки вы , лиш бы бабла побольше огрести . Охотник.
That's not even ethical hunting the point of hunting is to try to get close to the game you guys think you're in the military doing shots on the military vehicles a totally BS video this is what gives hunting a bad name
Only issue i have is the fuk around time on shots....driving me up a wall lol. Should have been on target rdy for another round even if you made a good 1st shot. But had multiple times of standing still and was busy talking or touching himself insed of sending a round down range to finish the job quicky.
I don’t understand why people think it’s cool to shoot 800-1000 yard shots and watch game struggle and suffer? Get in on the game and make an ethical kill.
I hunt. To watch these animals suffer from unethical shots is disturbing. You have to ask yourself if what you are doing is about sport and providing food for your family? Or, your ego?
