I have moved in with my partner on her family farm in Surin province, and have decided to vlog our journey to document our lives by recording our progress, in hope that we can inspire others with our adventure

Been married to a Thai for over 15 years now. Spent a lot of time visiting up in Isaan over the years. It’s beautiful but I could never live there. We are fish out of water there and I just don’t understand what westerners see in the place as somewhere to live full time among poor village people. Most I’ve seen just end up getting bored and eventually leave. What guys do for these women though. I took mine back to the U.S. When we finally did decide to retire back here we moved to Hua Hin.
Very interesting mix of crops and livestock. Looks like hard work but also a calm and peaceful life. I am curious to know more about how the Grandfather acquired the land and the family retained it. They seem to know it’s worth. Best of luck!

Once upon a time in Surin, I dabbled as a maestro in the adult film symphony. But as the saying goes, "not all that glitters is gold." So, I swapped the risqué reels for Phuket's sun-kissed scenes, because sometimes, you just have to flip the script and direct a new kind of blockbuster. Action!

I have about a million hours of footage to edit and I'm really slow when it comes to editing, along with being busy with so many projects. I really feel that people are waiting on me so I'm gonna get toto work on another one. I'll try to make it worthwhile. Thanks for your comment
ha ha I can see why people think that, I follow a lot of these foreigner in Thailand vlogs that go quiet because of things going south so to speak. Everything is well, a lot has happened since this video, I need to get my finger out and get some more videos out now. Cheers for the comment

My wife is originally from Kalasin and we visit Issan every 2 years - great to see you embrace the Issan culture. Are the 2 young children your wifes from a previous relationship? or from one of her siblings?
I live and born in Isan too .. but i live inside the khon kaen city... but i never do that .i like too much.. it's beautiful culture deep in Isan ✌️✌️🙏🙏

So enjoyed your video and love the way you embrace the Essan culture. Brought back many happy memories for my wife and I as we watched it together. We met 40 years ago and had kind of did the same adventure together. We still love our farm and recently upgraded my swimming hole to a bonifided swimming pool.

Yes Maidstone is where I spent most of my childhood, the food is delicious, everything about Isaan is amazing it's like the wild west still in many way which suits me down to the ground.
