I used to live in Palmares in the early 2000s they've really added some nice kid play structures to the town park that didn't used to be there. I wonder if the 6 foot iguanas and the sloths that lived in that park are still there.
Looks like there are a lot of nice, fun stores in there...but I can't help but think of the song lyric, "you paved paradise and put up a parking lot," and it is sad.
Nah this looks amazing, were i live there was a city mall, but i never knew that there was in costa rica, honestlt, i love malls, as tipic white girl for some reason lol, and i wanna go there wow
I'm not a city guy, but it is a great place to visit or conduct business. Instead, I chose to live in Guanacaste near the beach. Yes, it does get hot during dry season. But, the beach and cool water is only 2 minute walk away.
I moved away just as this was being built. The old international mall was fine but I really needed to go to Escazu or Heredia to enjoy a great mall. My tico friends tell me City Mall is awesome. I hope to see it someday
Acceptable infrastructure, but not US standard. The houses have good standard, but power could go down some times. Internet multiple providers, fiber optic internet up to 500MB or even more. Starlink also available in CR. All can change the next road, or with a different house, have this in mind.
@@aboutcostarica In other words it would look good, but there is no consistency when it comes to infrastructure.Even in Escazú.... How about the streets ? All hilly? Noise, crowds?
San Rafael de Escazu is more or less plain, the rest of the canton is hilly. In the lower part lots of business and commerce, in the hills more houses, it has its quiet parts for sure! Escazu is small in size, has its lower crowded corners, the best would be come over and check it out if this place is for you!
Hello Martin! Nice talking to you at Freddo Fresas. Enjoyed watching your videos while we travel in Costa Rica. We’re at Monte Verde today and it is truly a beautiful place to visit and live! Hope to see more of your videos soon. Pura Vida!
There are multiple places.... For today! Naranjo, Bar/Restaurant Pilones in San Juan de Narajo, or Italian Pizza at Pomodoro en Dulce Nombre de Naranjo! I like them both!
@@aboutcostarica 1983 to 2009. When I first arrived I thought I landed in heaven, homes were open and free, people walking by at night no fear of criminals chapulines,(juvenile criminals) used by adult criminals because juveniles can not be jailed. By the time I left every house was wrapped in Barbwire and wrought iron all over the windows. Some houses have Constantine wire on the roofs. Criminals have more rights than citizens. When did you arrive?
@@PAPITO_491999, still here... And you are right crime is on the rice! Criminals have a free ticket, police have no clue, no willing for the reason the courts are setting free the criminals again and again. Its happening all over the world not just in Costa Rica. Now in El Salvador things have changed, people start to wake up.This is what we need at more places.
Another awesome video. Love to see you venturing out into more of Costa Rica. Your videos are wildly entertaining and informative. Keep up the great work.
