We are sailing in the Getaway out if New Orleans in February. I am so glad they are closing off the smoking area. That was one of the worst things in the Breakaway and Escape. Other than that we really like these ships.
We have sailed on the breakaway and other breakaway class ships and the getaway is our favorite. As a matter of fact, we’re gonna be sailing on it in another 24 days.
Thank you for your video. I just traveled with NCL Escape and I have food allergens. I preordered twice at the Garden Cafe and my food was not prepared. It’s sad when there is so much food and I have to go to bed hungry. I just wish they would be more considerate with all the guests.
Are you still traveling? I’m going solo on the Encore TA in November. I would love to hear if you have any tips - especially specific to Encore. I’ve been on Bliss twice, but never Encore.
I get comments all of the time about a former president of the University I went too. Just like 100% of everyone that goes to college, they don't care who the president is. I am going to extend that to cruise lines. All I care about is getting itineraries to amazing destinations and the best price possible.
Just got back from ncl joy cruise, no hash browns are served anywhere on the ship., only country fried potatoes which didn't hit the spot.Ifound the hot breakfast options very disappointing.
This may be a strange question, but I'm traveling with my sister and family, and as much as I love them, I already spend too much time with and and I'm interested in getting out and meeting new people. Am I able to take part in any of the solo activities?
Just booked last night for a cruise starting next Sunday. I was wondering why Wheel of Fortune was listed as part of the entertainment on my cruise. I will definitely check it out.

Hello, this may be a dumb question. My family and I are new to cruising. We are going on the western Caribbean cruise to Mexico and Honduras. Should we bring our passports with us on excursions and if leaving the port area to go into town or leave those on the ship?
Going on the Norwegian Getaway next week. Any idea how much they charge for a glass or bottle of wine? We haven't bought any additional packages because we don't drink enough alcohol or soda to make it worthwhile.

we are trying to plan one in the summer of 2025 and this ship looks interesting. this will be our first cruise. Trying to find one that we will get not to sure on understanding the pricing on cruises and hear double occupancy, What does that mean. does this cruise line include all-inclusive drinks food or actives? or do they not have that as option any longer. thank you
Hi---I'm booked on JOY in October, do the NCL ships typically offer take out from the complimentary restaurants? The Local.... American Diner... etc. i.e, do they keep to go containers on hand for these and the buffet should you wish to carry back to your cabin or other location on the ship? (Obviously it's always an option to carry a plate. haha).
The selection of the buffet food on the Norwegian Epic was very underwhelming on my cruise in Fbnruary 2023. It did not compare to the Celebrity and Princess cruises that I cruised last year.
