*The Fates of All Aircraft Shown in this Video* 1:30 - *9M-XAC* - Stored at Kabul, Afghanistan since 2019. 2:00 - *HZ-AB3* - Still flying with Al Anwa Aviation. 2:48 - *9M-XAB* - Scrapped in 2015 at Tarbes, France. 3:30 - *HL7420* - Still flying with Asiana Airlines, sporting their current livery. 4:30 - *LY-STG* - Scrapped in 2021 at Cotswold, UK. 4:55 - *G-CELP* - Scrapped in 2017 at Cotswold, UK, while its cockpit section is preserved as a privately owned flight simulator in Germany that same year. 5:26 - *N613FE* - Recently retired from FedEx and stored at Victorville, USA since January. 6:13 - *G-BWDB* - Now a freighter flying for Canadian cargo airline Summit Air. 6:44 - *N613FE* - Already mentioned above. 7:29 - *9M-XAC* - Already mentioned above. can someone explain why are those legendary planes operating at London Stansted? Was there a political meeting because the czech air force flew there and the slovak one too.

Hi Pegpeggy3737 thanks for watching my video from Luton Airport. There are a few airlines in this video that no longer operate and are missed, it was sad to see Blue Air disappear. I think one of their 737 Max aircraft is still operating in Blue Air final livery but for LOT.
Hello, thanks for watching. Yes Interflug was an East German airline, operating before the unification of Germany. East Germany had close ties to the Soviet Union and may have been one reason Interflug operated the IL-62
When i saw this route on wiki i thought it was like an older flight that was operated on the dc10 when sun country still had them. So i was shocked 2 c it was a 737-800ng (sad this airline was terminated)
Hello Saturnlordaviation thanks for watching my video with Sun Country Airlines at London Stansted. When this video was shot in 2009, Sun Country had started scheduled flights to Minneapolis St Paul MSP by 737. These had a fuel stop in Gander. The flights, like many other transatlantic flights from Stansted, sadly ceased. Sun Country has operated a number of adhoc charter flights to Stansted in subsequent years. With all of the poverty in the world, it's sad to see the Americans and the Turks spending so much money flying so many large aircraft. They are impressive, but who cares.
Indeed there is a lot of poverty in the world, and very likely much in those countries that use such fleets, however meetings on the world stage matter. Of course if they need the fleets they have etc is another debate and could they use commercial flights, again another debate with pros and cons. As for who cares about watching these... thats the great democratic choice you have with RU-vid, you can choose what you watch. Thanks for your comment.
