My name is Karen and I´ve been working with resin since just after I moved to Spain from the UK in early 2021. I upload videos every Monday and Thursday and try to participate in collaborations with other artists.
I hope you enjoy watching my videos as much as I enjoy making them - if so, please like, comment, subscribe and share .
Your tealight candle holder turned our pretty. I'd love to see what them powders would look like with black behind them. Thank you for sharing, Karen ❤
Hi Karen, for the lotus mold, the piece you called the lid is really the base(it is a pedestal). Love the colors you could see the color shift in the shots. -Beverly
Your froggy turned out really pretty. I love the flowers you put in and also the choice of green. It was the perfect colour for the last layer. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you! I’ve been told that using the speed up setting is better than skipping forward, but I don’t think either is great since RU-vid counts watched hours and it affects the algorithm apparently. ❤️
Very pretty! I have learned using any of the eco resins that while acrylic paint does well in coloring them it also makes them set up quicker. Hope that helps you.
Very pretty Karen, love how the natural color one looks with the gold paint in the word Love. Maybe you could take some guilding glue and add gold foil to it if you really want it on there. That blue is pretty too.
The white/cream one is my favourite, I quite like it as it is but next time I use foil I’ll try putting it on the mould rather than in the eco resin! ❤️❤️
With eco, try and water down your acrylic paint. Add a tad of water to it and then pour into your eco, and it will marble, and it also won't blob. With foil if I put it in eco I have to sand the eco parts to see the foil or I put the foil down onto my mould 1st and the pour down my eco and it works both ways. Love white with the gold letters it makes it stand out. thank you for sharing, Karen ❤❤
Gorgeous! And i love the song at the start, had me cracking up, new subscriber here. I love your sticker backing trick! Tip when mixing mica powder, spray alchol into your mixing bowl as you go to make it more liquid than dry powder
Thanks for subbing! It’s funny because when I’m not filming I almost always mix the powder with alcohol before I put it in the resin. My mind just goes blank when I’m filming sometimes 😆❤️
I heard someone say that you can cut down the static on your molds with wiping them with a dryer sheet first. I haven't tried it, bought the dryer sheets and put them in the laundry room so I keep forgetting🤣 Great winter dragon, beautiful colors!!
