This Blackzon By Hpi catches my attention, although there are trucks like the HBX 16889 (Does the slyder have higher quality electronics than Hbx?) (how about the quality of the stock electronics?)
Should chuck some weighted wheels on the FTx and do a comparison. I'm still trying to decide which one I want, but for the money I could buy 2 FTX's for me and the boy. Such good value.
Those 24th scalers are such a good time and the terrain features bring an added level of fun. I would love to get the terrain pieces, a little plaster cloth and some paint, they could be next level.
Yep, I was browsing a local-ish RC plus toys shop and spotted one of these. Well it was only £109, so it seemed rude not to buy it! And yep, my first and only expensive mod has been softer tires. I've done other stuff to it as well, and 18 months later it's pretty damn capable. But out of the box and for the price, I don't think the Ravine can be beaten!
I have the Smyter desert buggy. It Flys, throwing dirt and gravel from all 4 tires. Yes, I will be upgrading soon, but I've had 0 problems running mine, nothing broken, and I haven't rolled it yet. It still sticks to the ground like glue, even high speed 4wd slides it doesn't roll over. The rear tire on the rack was genius. It really holds the rear tires on the ground. 100% happy.
Nice video 👍 i have the ftx but which do you prefer between these two? I'd also like to buy the scx and in future build a little track to have fun with my little son.
