I have the upgrade fridge/freezer and the dial will not turn all the way around to the side where it says refrigerator. The warmest I can get it up to is -10 °.
Tip from another user. Place cover over the grill. Now lift the hood of the grill up a bit while the cover is still on. Tuck the cover under the hood. Now the weight of the grill’s cover is holding down the cover to keep it from flying away.

I used a Flat Head screwdriver. started off very gently , taking care not to scratch the plastic grey color surround rim thing . the grill is pretty strong and doesn't bend easily, as compared to car speaker grills that are like paper thin.
