The police association put out an all forces memo stating that member's of the public are allowed to take pictures of anything they want in a public place this includes buildings and or police officers once a digital image or photograph has been taken it is then the property of the person who took said image or images the police have no powers to demand you delete any footage and no powers to seize any equipment without a court order.
