Yep! I’ve got the carb 450 for the trails and the 450X for the xc racing. Carb bike needs work so that’s why it hasn’t been in any videos lately but hopefully next year I’ll get more content with it! My wife and I ride all the time if I don’t have a race weekend 🤟
@@bowgrenmotorsports115 I was gonna say we should meet up at fox here soon and do some riding, but they just posted they are moving and going to bikes only now.
Great riding! Terrain looks like it was a lot of fun. Did my first race not to long ago in a team race. Was 6 hours long and painful lol 😂 I’d sign up to do another one in a heartbeat though. Had a blast!
It’s definitely one of my favorites - but I also like sandy places! The whole park flows really well, it’s just very dusty when conditions are perfect… and of course in the fall/spring it’s beautiful up there!
Trails look pretty gnarly for beginners, getting the gf into riding would you recomend going there? Its really close to home compared to other places and wpuld love to have a place thats not 2 hours away to ride
It honestly sucks there isn’t many good places nearby. Fox valley would be a decent place to learn but it isn’t very big (and it’s really close to this place) - you can check my video out for that place as well. The badlands would be a more well rounded place to learn how to ride
Oversized fan and higher pressure cap should fix your problem with overheating. If you get a vortex they can program the fan to come in sooner. If you do engine work then maybe get the bigger radiator but the stick radiator handles a lot.
@jefftrumble4768 the bike runs good (and cool), I was the one overheating unfortunately. But I plan on doing some of those things in the future anyways!
@@larsonracing699 Hopefully you get yours back together so we can have some fun at hixton. I've been dealing with loose bolts, after I put the new top end in it
I grew up on bikes and was never very good on them lol 😂 I was great at crashing them though lol 😂 went to a 400ex off a yz250 and never looked back lol
Rocked it at the creek crossing. Tough situation with other riders or else you couldve splashed in at about 5-10mph, break the water and then give er the full beans.
I actually switched over to the Insta360 X3 camera for races. I mount it directly to the front plastics with a bicycle mount I found on Amazon. I can make a list of the equipment I used.
Hello sir I own exactly same raptor color and everything, can you please tell me what do I need for this kit 366cc. Maybe send me a link with all parts much appreciated 😍
This reminds me of exploring with my wife on on my raptor 700 it is still fun though watching her develop as a rider, and she has came along way she she has a Kodiak 700 both quads are fairly new bought both in 2021
I'm 30 minutes into this video. And I'm not gonna sugar coat it. These trails don't look fun😢 You did a great job putting this video together. My banshee is getting powder coated very soon and engine parts are almost in. Plus new swingarm and AARMS. I might start a channel. Have not decided but Florida is the riding destination fall, winter, spring. Maybe next fall we all do a FL. Group ride and some awesome camping at the lake.
@BOWGRENNM115 they are not awesome. They are MAGIC 🎩 ✨️ 💖 Best trails I have been on and I traveled all around different national forest. Stay tuned I'm mocking up the top end now. Not many 40k banchees out there. This one is special. I bought it new 2006. It was originally built for MX. I might start a few videos first part of next year. If I can figure out the camera stuff and uploading
@@bowgrenmotorsports115 how’d you like that twist throttle on the KTM? I could never get used to a twist. Felt like I had less control of throttle input
@@JacksonOffroad25 it didn’t feel as bad as I thought, having a supermoto probably helped with that a bit. It just feels odd having one on a quad. I’m definitely slower with a twist though, thumb throttles just feel natural to me
@JacksonOffroad25 i put put a twist on my banchee back in 2007. Going from dirt bike to a 4 wheeler was a big adjustment for sure. I'm not sure I gave the thumb throttle enough time to really get used to it. I just remember my arm pumping up. My hand kept cramping. And my thumb was tired 😂 They don't cost much. You could try one and if you don't like it sell it.
Of course she likes it better. Handling aside, the problem with the Raptor/Warrior: those motors were so anemic, a BB kit doesn’t even get you into 400 territory in terms of power.
I totally agree. I’ve never been a fan of it, but it worked for what she wanted. A 400 will serve her well for a while. Technically the 366 isn’t even a big bore, it’s just the largest you can go with the stock sleeve
Dude it was perfect! They must have gotten rain before we got there cause there was no dust. It was a bit nippy when we got there but it got to the 50’s and it was awesome!
Its a great park, and definetly the best part would be the big hills and the sweeping trails! But all in all its great, if it wasn't for the rain / mud it would be in my top parks!
