hii, i’m Kristý and i’m all about books & reading, traveling, music and writing. oh and let's not forget about my study abroad craziness. so happy you’re here! 😊🫶🏻🪻💫♉️
i would love to live in italy for a bit! i could talk about this stuff forever haha but my number one advice is don't worry about what you're feeling, it's probably very common and you're not the only one feeling that way! ❤️ i remember in the beginning of my studies abroad, i felt so alone and weak but it's really the opposite. and don't hesitate to talk about it with some other international students, they will understand you 🥹❤️🩹 good luck 🫶🏻
I love watching kindle unboxing, set up and reading vlogs! glad i discovered you! Could you also share the link to the clear case cover + screen protector? I think I have a similar model to yours, but am unable to get the correct sized clear case :/
After looking at your video, along with others. I dislike amazon, but use it for certain things; although for me kindle is not for me. I will only get the cheapest one that makes sense as I don’t have many books under the kindle ecosystem for the books that I do have, and maybe get any if i feel like it; but get a kobo color for my main full use on library books and physical books that I can get a digital copy of for my classes. I am a student as well, although I had to take a gap year or two due to life situations; and am going back soon. The kobo will help in me highlighting, underlining, writing inside the book/side notes, and being able to see both color with b/w. This is because I’ll be able to use it for essays, and subjects that are content heavy. I also recommend good reads as your general one, and the main one that I recommend to use more often; is one that I love called hardcover. Good reads can be meh, and you can’t give .5 in your review; but also I feel it’s not easy to organize. While hardcover is better organized, and the .5 in the review. Also as a singer, I’m happy to know you’re singing in choir!!!
thank you for your input! i agree that kindle is not a great device if you want to use it for study purposes 😅 but as i want it only for reading, it’s not an issue for me. to track my books i use an app called Book Tracker right now and i love it 🥰
@@kristynadocekalovawell then that’s good, I’d still recommend the hardcover app; but glad you found a good one to use. If you decide to get one for reading, study, and writing anything or drawing besides it’s main function for taking notes; then a kobo is way better. There is a few problems with kindles system that makes it hard to use multi functions formats like epub which is easier for essays, and such. I live in the states; and would love to see the Czech Republic. Any recommendations from you a local?
I guess it's a personal preference. I'm not really using the notes feature, to be honest! I love physical books too but with all the traveling and going from one place to another, kindle has made my life easier haha
