My name is Mark Pietersen and I live in Alkmaar in the Netherlands. I have been able to travel a lot. One day I was enjoying myself for the umpteenth time with some friends in the pub/bar. And thought! what am I doing here I can do this everywhere. it is always the same. always the same bar/clubs, always the same country/village or city. always the same people. (do not get me wrong I love the people around me) this can be different, I thought. So all the money I spent with going out, I saved up and a few months later I left alone for Thailand. That is now almost 18 years ago. I have already visited more than 37 countries. and already slept in more than 160 accommodations. and flown almost more than 54 times. it is still not boring. on the contrary, the urge to travel is only getting bigger and bigger.
But especially, I have met lots of nice people. from poor and rich. I have been able to make a lot of friends around the world. I can not wait for the next trip!

We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
Haha! Great to see this, I am half dutch living in the Philippines, every summer I go to the Netherlands where I stay in Bergen because I have a relative who lives there, I would bike to schoorl by bike from Bergen super fun stuff!
Dus ze hebben je toch om weten te praten en je te overtuigen dat het alleen maar goed is voor de natuur al dit sloopwerk met zware machines en het uitroeien van eekhoorns en kuifmezen en veel andere dieren? Jammer. Het vorige jaar twijfelde je nog.
Goed dat u eraan twijfelt of het zo moet. Ik heb ook even het voorbereidend wetenschappelijk onderzoek ingekeken en het eerste wat opvalt is dat er alleen gesproken wordt over flora en niet wat de effecten zijn op de fauna. Ook gaat het onderzoek niet in op de manier van werken en de machines die zullen worden gebruikt afgezien van alleen het zogenaamde chopperen. Het in zo een kort tijdsbestek verwijderen van (bijna) alle naaldbomen zal ongetwijfeld zorgen voor uitroeien van eekhoorns en kuifmezen en eventuele zwarte spechten en veel andere dieren die zich hier hebben gevestigd in de afgelopen eeuwen na de komst van de naaldbomen. Alle schuilplaatsen van op de bodem levende zoogdieren worden door de zware machines vernietigd en vele dieren zullen sneuvelen en ook door de herrie worden verjaagd. Uiteindelijk na 40 jaar zou er een verbetering van de natuur zichtbaar moeten worden met een hogere biodiversiteit maar de schade op korte termijn is enorm en ik twijfel net als u of het beoogde doel ooit bereikt gaat worden op deze manier.
So bad there is no primeval forest left in the Netherlands and most trees there were planted ): the only primeval nature left are some small wetlands in Friesland,I hope Europe can recover the few nature left

I love Gdansk and The Three City Area. I might recommend you Guys visit another City in Poland, Warsaw with its four Museums : Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego , Muzeum Historii Żydów Polskich POLIN , Chopin Museum, The Royal Castle Museum. I know Warsaw very well and I use my bike to see how much this city is in develope from decade. I see that you guys like mountains, so we have a great place to enjoy the nature including fantastic peak, The Kasprowy in Tatry Mountains. Even I saw your video from Wieliczka Salt Mine, so thats mean you have already reach South of Poland
I was there for building a traditional Samoan fale (no longer there) in 2004, later bringing in a group of 94 Samoan dancers and they stayed and performed there for 7 months in 2006. Missed that place!
