One of the great solo saxophonists whose formidable musical work will last forever. Just as Benny Goodman's clarinet mastery will always be held out as an example forever for all to reference and compare.

+Piadina Funk True, but mediocre is mediocre. Bruno Mars isn't recognized as a drummer or percussionist. Of course the people who have seen much better drummers will criticize him. He's mediocre.... And he's playing in bigger stadiums than much better drummers... And he's showing off to people that don't know much about drumming so they will worship him even more. Why not let better drummers show off on a much bigger stage? That is why we criticize.
Mike Mangini is a drummer/percussionist from the band Dream Theater. He's considered one of the worlds fastest drummers in the world. He is a virtuoso. Bruno Mars is just an average artist that happens to be famous at this current time. He's mediocre at what he does.
His set up is over rated. He would sound just as good and exactly the same on a modern Chinese saxophone and on any mouthpiece he played. Despite what all the marketers, vibrationalists, and believers tell you, the player player makes the sound, not the equipment.
@@nathanwyatt8939 If that is the case, then, why did Jaqueline du Pré primarily play "on two Stradivarius cellos, one from 1673 and the Davidov Stradivarius of 1712"?
