I got p10f non OR, i gotta say this is indeed one of the best gun i own. Deadly accurate, crisp triggers, very comfortable out of the box. The best part was, it only cost me 300 brand new.
They are neck and neck. If I had to pick one id probably say the Mckinatec. GCode is slightly higher quality but the belt clip requires a lot to adjust its angle. The McKinatec belt clip is much easier to adjust and has more range of adjustment whereas the GCode has only 3 static slots for cant adjustment. That to me is a big deal. I like to have fine adjustment in where and how my holster rides in my pants. Also the GCode has no ride height adjustment so that is a definite disadvantage.
Haha did you miss the beginning when I said it was a just for fun build. On a side note my edc is this gun without the comp and with a smaller optic. It seems like you think people shouldn’t carry with a gun that has an optic and a light?
Ive looked into those magwells. They arent bad if you are looking to use them on a gun more for range or competition style shooting. They arent a slim enough profile for my taste in a gun im going to carry. Another thing to note is the added weight from the aluminum base pads from Floyd’s is a bonus both in easier mag drops and the overall balance of the gun. My preference of course
In case you don’t know, when Springfield started producing the gun, they took the liberty in making the beavertail more beefier than what it originally had(a little thicker), even though it’s really hard to see, to help reduce the likelihood of hammer bite, as well as recontouring the ring hammer for such. I of course don’t understand why the beavertail is sharp though.
The P10C is so under the radar to most average people. I kinda like it that way though. I've had a handful of them since they came out. The first one with the ambi mag release was stiff. They then released a model with the swapable mag release that fixed the stiffness. Best striker gun out of the box. From the beginning I shot the 10C better than any pistol. It has made me a much better pistol shooter. Besides my Walther pdp and a few M&P variants the 10C is my all time fave.
I love the P10c. I shoot in matches for the last few years. I’ve flirted with others makes and models and like them but I keep coming home to the P10. I also use the 507 comp on it. It’s a great pairing.
Right? It's like why the hell wouldn't you buy one. Even P10C non optic ready is bargain bin pricing for a gun thats actually top tier for striker fired guns.
@@360TacticalSolutions I cycled through 2 p10c’s unfortunately both had an issue with the roll pins walking out. I really wanted to like that platform. I may snag another one since there 399 at my local shop.
The CZ P10C is 🔥🔥🔥. I was like you when it comes to Glocks but now that I’m used to them, other guns feel weird to me smh.. I now feel like Glocks grip angle is genius.. Glock, S&W, CZ, the new Taurus pistols and Springfield Armory are my favorites.. Great vid!
Ya my Taurus GX4 Carry is honestly a real threat to the Hellcat Pro as far as its ranking in my gun safe. These new Taurus are not the guns people expect when they think of the Taurus brand.
@@360TacticalSolutions Man even I had to come to terms with the fact that Taurus is reliable now.. The Gx4 Carry is their best carry pistol imo. Just got a optic ready shield plus and it is before my Hellcat Pro now 🤦🏾♂️
Crap. Just recently ordered from stuff from Floyd's. Ah well. CZ 9-10s are some of the most under rated polymer guns for a great price. Very tempted to get the CZ 9 Nocturne as I like the sandpaper texture though the older CZ 9 and current CZ 10 textures work. Check out Calculated Kinetics Dog Tag optic plates. They got a great deal if you buy an optic through them with their optic plate, they throw in the optic plate for free! And their leading ledge design actually works helping deflecting gas preventing carbon buildup on the optic (especially on the M&P). Also, came across someone using a Tyrant Magwell for M&Ps that seem to work with with OEM base plates mags (still love Floyd's magwells though.)
For sure they are underrated. It's weird that the only CZ's that really get a lot of attention are the hammer fired steel frame guns. It's really strange how that works. Oh and I appreciate the heads up on the Tyrant Magwell, Ill have to look at it for referral for people who ask about a magwell that doesn't require a plate change
I love CZ, my Shadow 2 is my favorite range toy and I carry a P-07 in the cooler months, but my P10c had problems out of the box. I understand that most don't and I'm not gonna knock the line because of my experience. Fortunately, taking a dremel to the feed ramp and chamber seemed to fix the issues that I was having. I smoothed out the internals which reduced the trigger weight to 4lb, filed down the inside of the trigger guard (my finger kept getting caught between the trigger and the trigger guard) and I recently added silicon carbide to the frame. The gun shoots great, but as far as striker fired guns go, I like my Echelon better. Just a personal preference I guess. Can't wait to see what CZ's new pistol line will be! Great video!
I love getting feedback on other peoples experiences. I compile these things and use them when people ask advice, so thanks for that. It could just be a one off for you, sounds like it's pretty rare for these things to be problematic. The echelon though...I basically use it as a host to test optics at this point. I need to sand out some of the surfaces where I get a hotspot. The beginning of my thumb at the webbing tends to get super irritated the more I shoot it. I think part of that is my personal grip style. Don't get me wrong, its a great gun but the more I shoot it the more I find that others in my collection just fit me better
@@360TacticalSolutionsI tend to agree my pdp pro sd and p10c and F seem to run best and I like there triggers better than the Echelon. The zev hyper comps are very nice also.
@@360TacticalSolutions, I had that problem as well. I have to move my thumb slightly outward to mitigate the issue (not a huge problem for me). My main complaint with the Echelon is the bump on the side of frame that contours with the mag release. It digs into the thenar of my palm on my support hand and doesn't feel pleasant after awhile. I'll probably sand it down in the future.
The P-10F is just a joy to shoot. I would definitely recommend it, even though the P-10C is more practical for me due to size (for carry). The F is prob my favorite striker-fire handgun to shoot.
I believe the G45 is a 19 slide on a 17 frame isn't it? Kind of like when I put my 4" M&P slide on the frame for my metal frame 5" Competitor. It's an odd combination but it really works well. You know how it goes though...this whole 2A is about finding what works for the individual cause we all have different tastes and preferences. As long as you are getting range time thats all that counts
Thinking about building a nomad defense grip g45 clone with a lander or a zev slide with a radian afterburner I just ran a hyper comp and it was very nice. This build price almost the same price as a zev hyper comp so maybe just go all the way, and get one of those. Both these builds you don’t have to put up with the Glock grip angle. And if you want to upgrade to a Icarus grip for the zev oz 9 it’s always possible.
@@russdennis7026 nice I can’t believe how flat the p10F shoots in stock form. Almost like a ported or comped gun. Why I haven’t ported or comped it. I used to run a g17 but the F is definitely flatter. Yea stock Glock grip angle for me is not what I look for so the zev or nomad will be my route. I know many guys like the g45 with a radian afterburner on it. It’s a solid gun.
Imo, it's a more refined glock 19/17, for about 100-150 doll hairs less on average. Especially if you spec up. A SR/OR model is like $50-$100 above the base, and you get two 17 round mags. And the full sized p10F isn't a penny more and you get two 21 round mags if you go with the SR/OR version. the P10 line is so so so slept on.
Just shot my brand spankin new Hellcat Pro Comp today. So disappointed at the accuracy out at 25yds. Grouping was decent and starting off at 7 yards it blew a 5" hole. Put 200 rounds through it and overall feeling was like others here have commented that the trigger really killed my excitement about the purchase. Sharing my disappointment with all my buddies who steered me away from Sig to the Hellcat said "you have to upgrade to the Apex trigger" and thus here we are. Consequently when I searched Reddit for Apex triggers MCarbo came up, then discovered the Pro Accessories Bundle then headed to YT for a review of the kit. Thank you Mike for this vid the review convinced me to just go with MCarbo, and also learned from the comments below that they give a Veterans Discount! Sincerely your newest subscriber! 🤙
Welcome aboard, glad to have you on the channel. I believe MCarbo changed the trigger design from the one that I had. I haven't tested the newest version. The one in this video ended up having issues a couple hundred rounds after this video and I threw it out to be replaced with the Apex. I tested a half dozen different triggers in this gun and finally just said enough is enough im sticking with the Apex in my primary HCP. Let me know what you think of the MCarbo when you get it in and tested, I may have to order this new v2.0 they have and try it
Not surprising at all. I have been moving content over to Rumble more and more but the views just aren’t there. Hopefully it picks up and I can justify making exclusive content in that platform that YT won’t allow me to put up here
I keep telling people and have been for yrs now, P10 Series are probably the best all around striker fired handguns, well built(look at their barrels) best ergos, good triggers, shoot very flat with minimum recoil. Ive own P320s, VP9, M&P's and P10's are the best ones so far.
I have both the C & F. I shoot the P10F in competition with the P10C and as backup since they both fit the same holster. I have a little over 47k rounds through the P10F and just under 10k rounds through the P10C. The P10C is stock and the P10F only has a HBI trigger installed. I also installed a brass back-strap on the P10F. The brass back-strap was an excellent weight distribution solution.
@@dansigmon1559I am thinking about adding a brass lock to mine to. Running an eps shield plus 5 mags, overwatch precision trigger and striker. next for the brass backstrap and dpm recoil kit.
New Hellcat pro comp owner. I have a stupid question. If I order the talon holster with light and optics ad-one, will the stock gun fit right? I don’t know if I will purchase a light or optics, but want the add-ons in case I do purchase in the future. Thanks
Just to be clear, you are asking of the gun in its stock configuration will work in the holster made for a gun with light will still work when there is no light attached? If that is the question…no. A light bearing holster clamps on to the body of the light. A non light bearing holster clamps on to the trigger guard. Without having the light attached the gun will just rattle around in the holster made for a light. I hope I made that make sense lol its been a long week
Don’t worry we got you I love you content and the amount of time and details that you provide keep doing what you doing and remember God loves you and you were made in the image of him God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ
@@360TacticalSolutions the striker will lighten ur gun a half pound and will operate more smooth with less primer strikes because its polished think its like 40 bucks on optics planet. I wish i found ur channel about 2 weeks ago before i bought 7 flyods base plates lol
I know a lot of people love the P07/P09 but I got rid of them for the P10C/F and that was due to the ergos and trigger of the P10 series are way more superior over the P09/P07.
I don't know what you could do with it next. I left my P10c stock and love it just the way it is. As far as my favorite CZ, it's the P07. I had it milled for an optic and threw on some Talon Grips.
@@360TacticalSolutions The P09C Nocturne is the brand new replacement for the P07 and comes complete with optics cut, improved grip texture, and a few other updates from my venerable gun. If I hadn't paid to cut my slide and put on the grips, I'd be all over the P09c Nocturne, despite the clunky name.
