I love Coop. But, he was a womanizer and would have sex with any woman opposite him. He actually made Patricia Neal get an abortion, because he didn’t want their child! I’m pretty much fed up with him.
I think Maureen in The Quiet Man is probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. She is so lovely! JW was so blessed to have worked with her. They made a fine couple on and off screen!
If you have yet to watch "The Quiet Man", do that, it will restore a lot of the human heart that the other Hollywood s**t has removed through the silver screen.
"A Man Gets To Thinkin" From The American Icon, John Wayne's CAHILL, UNITED STATE MARSHAL (1973) Music : Elmer Bernstein | Lyrics : Don Black | Vocal : Charlie Rich A man gets to thinkin' When his kids are growin' He sees the years goin' But what's to be said A man gets to thinkin' He feels his mind wander He looks back to ponder The life that he's lived He thinks of the seasons He's wasted by not bein' there What good is a mem'ry That loved ones can't share A man gets to thinkin' Of days yet before him If time will ignore him He'll know what to do He'll stay close to you Till his thinkin' is through... OOOOHHHHhhhhhh Bushod !!!!!!!😄😄😅😂🏃🏃♀💃🏃♂🤠🤠🤠 What A Great Movie !!!!!! And What A Funny Movie !!!!!! Always love The Actress Eleanor Parker in her movies, and Rober Taylor and his movies. I loved the other movie they did together !!!!! Valley of the Kings About Egypt, he as an archeologist, Eleanor as a woman accompanied by her husband to the tomb of pharaoh Rahotep in 1954. The third movie they did together was Above and Beyond made in 1951, about the bombing of Hiroshima. Which I wasn´t familiar with and haven´t seen. Robert Taylor and Eleanor Parker had great chemistry together !!!!!! I loved her in The Sound Of Music, and another Great Movie with Charlton Heston The Naked Jungle 1954.
I remember watching movies with Maureen O'Hara back when I was a young girl. My mom and I loved watching movies together. Maureen is absolutely gorgeous and so genuine and sweet. She is a genuine "movie star." She and John Wayne had a great chemistry acting together.
Dan O’ Herlihy adds a touch of class and Dolores Michaels a touch of glamour to this Alan Ladd western heist pic supported by Barry Coe and Don Murray, the latter draws the short straw in this one but is unable to make his drunk more credible. Despite Alan Ladd being past his best this is still an enjoyable pic.
When the Duke was in Japan to film this movie, he visited and ate a meal with the Marines at the local military base. Guess who cooked his meal. It was Lee Harvey Oswald. He had been assigned to mess duty that week and they found that he took naturally to cooking.
'Duke' Wayne was gregarious, very friendly and loved to visit with folks. I believe he thought that signing autographs was a privilege. He showed his fans that he admired them as much as they did him. Bless his memory.
