I recently completed all assessments now my interview is scheduled. But i don't know from where and how i have to attend my interview. Can someone help me?
Hey @janig795 You should receive an email or the interview inforamtion will be on the website after you login as a candidate. Just curious did you have your interview yet? ANd what sort of questions did they ask?
This is great work lads. I grew up in Roundwood from 1973 to 1994 and loved living there when I was your age. At that time the Powerhouse was a literal powerhouse… some kind of generator for the local area with massive pipes belching out steam.
@@IqraKanwal-nj9dk it was good. First was the group assessment during which a scenario was given and we had discussion on that. After that one-to-one interview was there. In that, team work skills were tested mostly. In which location you have the interview ? I did mine on 19th and still waiting for the result.
@@IqraKanwal-nj9dk for the interview, one question was like "You are working on your shift busy with a customer. Then your colleague asks you to help him with some merchandising. How will you respond to such situations. My answer : I will first attend to customer but I will excuse the customer for a second and tell the colleague that I will help him after attending to the customer. Then I will continue to help the customer. once I am done with that I will help my colleague. I don't know whether this is right.. But these kind of questions you can expect. I am still waiting for the interview outcome.
So nice to see this place is still about.my Nan lived on Frank road so i know this place well.Thank you to all guy's who keep this place running your a asset to the community and have all my respect as you do many others.👍
I worked in john lewis Cardiff myself but had to finish in August 2020 due to health reasons I came across menna on a daily basis she is a credit to the store, great advise and if you are lucky enough to become a partner don't be afraid to ask for help and you will throughly enjoy your time there as I did !
Do you have any advice on dealing with nerves? I have an interview with Waitrose on Monday and I’m incredibly nervous as I’m worried about coming across as scatty and unfocused!
I would say prepare yourself make some notes to take with you this should help some of those nerves. Take your time with the questions and sdk for them to be repeated. Good luck/pob lwc!
@@CardiffYouthService Thank you so much for your advice and following up with me! I GOT THE JOB!! I was also offered the choice of 2 other positions at another store but I’ve chosen to take the position closer to my home. I’m absolutely thrilled and very excited to start 😁
@@CardiffYouthService Making notes was key advice for me. It helped me remember things I’ve done and experiences I could discuss at my interview so my mind didn’t go blank :)
