I am going to old key west next week and doing some research on RU-vid today . I have watched 5 videos about it and your review is by far the best. I enjoyed watching this video because of your unique and funny style of presentation, yet very informative and detailed. Thanks.
Thank you for the comment! And to answer your question, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's BoardWalk Inn currently hold the top of my list so far at scores of 95/100.
@@caleb_the_kentSince the ride’s still going through previews, not everything is fully operating. The water will be fully functioning when the ride officially opens
Splash Mountain is one of the greatest creations from WDI and it seems like they truly ruined it with this new take. Not a fan of what I've seen so far.
To all those wondering on my channel or have seen the video, the original video was taken down because for some reason, RU-vid is making the video darker than what the original export and file is. I tried many things like doing another file or doing it on a different computer or changing the graphics setting but it hasn't done anything. I did manage to make another project of the video with the brightness slightly up and the contrast slight down and it came out just almost identical. It's not going to be 100% exact but until it's gets resolved, this is what is gonna be the case with future videos. Oh so fun technology and its unnecessary bugs 😐
We're arw staying here now. It's awesome. The best part is they are doing comsteuction above our room until 1 am in the morning. I'm talking hammering, beating, banging, some type of of floor refinishing machines, Don't believe that crap about construction is going on only during the day.
I'm sorry that that is happening during your stay. It says on the website currently that you may be able to hear noises during daytime hours, but nothing about nighttime hours. I didn't hear anything at nighttime when I stayed so I have no clue why it's happening during your's.
It probably wasn't intended, but the lighting outdoors on the right side was much better in the side-by-side comparison. It just goes to show how much detail goes into making the best shot possible. I didn't really notice the jitteriness until you pointed it out. It would be cool to get your reviews on areas of the parks or the parks as a whole.
The noises weren't that loud to me during my stay and they didn't take place super early in the morning. Hopefully it won't be much of an issue for you assuming it's not done by the time of your stay.
We have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge three times, starting the year after it was built in 1994. Last visit in April, 2023. Each visit has been better than the last. In 2023 the WL staff treated us to a wonderful 50th wedding anniversary stay. The place is immaculate, and the rooms are outstanding, especially those that face into the interior courtyard. The Wilderness Lodge is our Disney resort of choice. Next visit: 5 nights in April, 2025.
Great video. I like the laid back but informative style and the video showing great evidence for your comments. Do you think Wilderness lodge is even better than the AKL? If you could only stay in one, which one would you choose?
I have not actually stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge yet. But when I do, I'll try to remember to compare this property and AKL to answer your question. But I appreciate your comment!
@@caleb_the_kent Thanks. I asked as whilst AKL and WL are still really expensive, they are the two deluxe resorts I'd still categorize as just about affordable. Additionally they also seem so beautifully themed. Will watch your northern california video next and compare your short list with mine.
No, I didn't. But I have seen a good number of people do that. I bet that most of the time the monorail/Resort launches are quicker but I do believe some instances make walking faster.
@@richardbrice9542 sorry for the late response. If you look on his website www.ramsa.com/projects , you'll see all his projects and they all have quite a contrary of designs or looks when compared to the Boardwalk. But I can tell he's definitely one good architect!
@@caleb_the_kent what a portfolio. Very varied as you say. I was thinking at the start “that looks like the gap HQ on the waterfront in San Francisco” and lo and behold, I scrolled down and found that building in his collection. I noticed he also did the GSK HQ which is very near my old house. Stunning building.
