As time goes by, I love ds2 the most. I feel it's superior to Ds1. Ds3 was great, but it's so linear replays are absolute slogs. Elden Ring was pretty cool, I'd put it equal with ds3. I haven't played Sekiro yet, but my ranking would be; 1. Dark Souls 2 2. Bloodborne 3. Dark Souls 3 4. Elden Ring 5. Dark Souls 1 All of these are at minimum 10/10, I just like some more than others
@@labaguette._.4113 depends on how good you are at dodging tbh, if you want to tank just use heavier armor. Light armor like this is just for quick playstyles who want to able to survive if they get caught.

I literally fought him yesterday for the first time and had this exact experience. Parrying him is fine until you mess up, get hit once and fail to recover. I found the most consistent heal to be immediately after a repost, sometimes hed still manage to hit you but for me the damage was usually a bit less then the amount i healed for so it was usually worth
Imagine you are an illusion of Ornstein made out of his god like soul and some level 1 jerk starts taunting you with two handed blocks spam. There should have been ds3 like Ornstein's second rage stage
It's the Church Pick. There's a key reachable in the Research Hall after turning around the stairs which unlocks the prison cells after Ludwig's boss room. One of the cells has a Hunter with the church pick who'll drop it. Ngl it's one of the best weapons in the game. Deals Righteous Damage and mostly Thrust Damage which no enemy in the game is resistant to.
