Having spent about 4 hours trying to register an account with Steam _ I've given up. I would advise anyone to STAY AWAY from this lot. They are as light on HELP and info about registration as the "village idiots" they employ to manage their IT front end. The "Help and Tips" forum is FULL of folk who have had their accounts compromised, or have been "conned" in various ways - its truly unbelievable. I've NEVER SEEN so many barriers put up to selling "a product". I can't register - so I won't be buying anything from them An over complicated MESS - FIRST you register on the Website . . . . then you have to do it all again on the stupid App you have to install on the PC - another inexplicable Runaround of Timeouts and endless "CAPCHA" click-festes, before you get "YOUR PASSWORD IS NOT ALLOWED" - (NO indication of what IS allowed - of course) . . . . .. Completely Cretinous - intelligent - or what? . . . . 😡 . . . No surprises - they're US based . . . 🙄
