So I'm not the only one who remembers being able to do this for free? Because everything else I see shows it done at the matchup screen which requires money to get to, but I'd swear I did the same as a kid and would play this when I ran out of quarters.
@@RichardCraig I'm reading the NBA Jam book now and they talk about this game. You're correct, you could play this game for free as well, which was a mistake by the programmers. When Midway discovered this they freaked out and sent out new boards to correct it.

@WtfMarkus3000 no actualy in the castle in vannila dome i think when he destroys the castle he uses that hammer and the hammers from ssbb and ssbm were from donkey kong arcade
For those who don't know the difference, a yoshi coin as a sprite gets rid of horrifying cutoffs because of it being an object. It also has a z order now, allowing it to be placed behind or in front of things.
