Gotcha cool deal in my State as Fire-Police. I can run Red and White, Green or all red. In my vehicle I run all Reds. Great Video and great response. Don't let the haters tell ya otherwise! Keep up the great content 🙂
Very Cool Setup! I can tell you would have some ground plain issues with all the Antennas on the roof, but My question is do the hood antennas get detracting?
someone asked that question already, let me see if i can find the post and put it here, i worked in the oilfield as a safety officer so made 100k a year, money was nothing i just wanted the best set up so i would be seen and heard safe.....
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fK9ndT5GREM.html that is the video here is the reply >>>> i got each thing one at a time but i would have to guess around $2000 for all lights and siren
I live in eastern Kentucky. Your terrain is exactly the same as what I have here. I have heard some of the local chiefs radio their responding units to run lights and siren but not to drive faster than the poster speed limit. The road is just to dangerous to drive them fast.
Well in my opinion, I have never seen someone needing to have a radar in their vehicle unless they are truly law enforcement, but even then, how many officers have a radar in their personal vehicle?! The other thing is, this is the first time I have watched a POV have one on their vehicle, let alone, a fire and rescue responder having to have one in their vehicle. I know a Fire Chief who has his Chief vehicle at home and works for the Police and doesn't have a radar in any of his cars. Honestly, having it in your vehicle, does give off the wrong impression or message and you should really look at finding another way to do what you need to do to monitor your speed. It just spells trouble and does look like you are impersonating a cop. At least where I am from, you would be pulled over and they could charge you for having that Radar in your car with the lights setup like so.
I saw that and was thinking exactly that, you cant enforce law in a pov, so radar is useless, if it isnt to look as much like a cop car as possible, then i dont know what a whacker is. And rhis is coming from someone in the UK, with a cvpi doing it up as a cop car once again...
thanks for your opinion, does not change a thing on my purpose and reason, read my comment on why before you post i aint repeating it again , and you are wrong there is nothing illegal about have a radar unit for your job ! and for safety ! well i am glad i aint living where you from sounds like dumb people live there , your cops need to go to the academy again and learn the laws, would be a shame to get fired and sued.
That’s bullshit for your radar.. your just a wannabe cop. You can literally get a mini MPH gauge or get a camera that labels speed, you just wanna look like a cop... gtfo impersonator
Good0 afternoon, if I may I ndid have one question in regards to all of the equipment that you haver inside of your vehicle, since you have all that there, would really thing that all that might blow the fuses inside of the of the vehicle, so if may ask, did you purchase jmuch Bigger fuses so that all this equipment wouldnt blow those? Thanks
Yes I has dual batteries and heavy duty wire to everything LEDs dont draw much but the siren did since it put out 400 watts and my CB that did 1200 watts
@@investigatorsf Thak you so very much for replying, I really dso appreciate it, now if I may ask just one more question, do you have a number of this equipment plugged directly into the vehicles cigarette lighter plug or is everyting pretty much wired straight through the dash and then straight to the batteries???
Always. Not always strict but speed limits are there for safety. I see where you're coming from, but on the other hand, the first task is to get there alive.. Driving yourself off the road because you lost control of your vehicle at a bend is a good way to not succeed at that. Highways are less strict but same concept. There's some more to it than that but mostly lights and siren are for other vehicles to yield to you.
Ricky USCG-A hi it is cool to see you responding to fire and ems calls what state or town are you in and do the fire station have a sirens I did hear a siren just want to know
@@investigatorsf It looked like there was another responder coming your direction away from the call. My assumption, if it was a responder and not just my eyes, going to station
Pretty decent code 3 response by a volunteer. In fact better than most that I have seen by by cops in the greater Cincinnati area. Used the siren to clear intersections and shut it down on the freeway. This video might be used for training in some departments. KMA
I'm all for helping people when it's a emergency, but crossing the double yellow is a accident waiting to happen. You go over the double yellow means your driving is too fast. The double yellow means that all caution is for both directions. I thank you for your services but you are endangering other drivers that also have familys. Slow down we all live longer.
you need to preach to the others that drive 15-20 mph faster than me, and i know that road well and drive it safe, had i not i would have already crashed after driving code 3 since 1987, so i must be driving safe.
i got laid off in wv had to move so no more coming from wv and here in florida vollys cant use lights and sirens, we have to stay at the station and man it. plus i vol at uscg now too and i may do some videos on the water while on patrol if i am allowed, its military so may not be allowed.
I'm surprised you don't just delete the negative comments like me haha and nice videos. The radar isn't a bad idea, especially since people are crazy as hell behind the wheel.. stay safe!
yes it does make a huge difference, one time going to a call i went by a sports car and i could here the loud stereo over my loud ass siren and i looked on dash and he had a radar detector so i guess it went off and he looked in mirror and seen the lights and got out of my way, thats all i was trying to do is come up with ways to respond safe to calls. thanks have good day buddy
It is good to know what the crazy people think, because they're the ones that are going to phone in whining and complaining about your driving or your this or that... With youtube, you can find out what they are going to complain about and get yourself the right legal proof otherwise. lol
