Super meat boy forever is one of the best platformers of all time and easily in my top 3 I’ve ever played, I just finished the game last night with A+ on every level, and I can’t wait to new game plus and keep going the game is AMAZING…
So a few months ago, I beat Mean Bean Machine and I absolutely loved playing it (even if it broke me sometimes) and I saw that this was for sale and I literally just didn't buy it because I knew that it wouldn't be as fun as Mean Bean Machine
I feel like you mercilessly beat the shit out of this game. Not for no reason, your points make sense. Though there are some opinions of yours I don't agree with (I for one REALLY liked the Squirrel and Brain arc)
uhm acktually meat boy forever isnt really a bad game in my opinion because i am focusing on 100%ing it right now, and the only bad thing bout it is the DIFFICULTY SPIKE
Super Meat Boy Forever actually sucks mechanic wise it is so fucking easy and then hard at the most RANDOM ASS TIMES so it makes me actually quit I couldn't even get past world one 💀I played the first game recently AND LOVED IT I Hate why it forces you to move forward with no time to wait unless you hit a wall and the bosses are so GOD DAMN random and I figured out I HATE auto runners
And I can see why epic put the second game for free a few weeks ago (Luckily I didn't spend money on it) and it's fully boring and I uninstalled it very quickly
Not only is this game just Puyo Puyo, it's SINGLEPLAYER Puyo Puyo. There's a reason most of Puyo's gameplay isn't the singleplayer endless mode, and it's because singleplayer Puyo is BORING. The only reason one would want to go into endless mode in the Puyo games is to possibly learn how to make chains, that's it. Puyo Puyo is just objectively more fun when going up against someone else, be it a computer or another player. Mean Meat Machine just decided to throw it out and keep the most boring version of the gameplay (plus their little obstacle gimmick, which your video already points out is not a good gimmick).
i think you and the community are underestimating this game i found likeing in the game because you would most likely not be doing ridiculos stuff because the game runs for you and it feels still as smooth as the original
Just got this game from epic games and recently beat it. I never thought a platformer like this could make me rage. So true on the boss fights and the auto runner. It made me feel destructive, but overall nice game to play for free on epic games.
Honestly, the only problem with the game is that it's an autorunner. Autorunners suck. They could literally give you the run mobility in the first game, and people would have liked this one.
Tbh i think we gave this game too much backlash for all the wrong reasons. If you really think about it, it’s one of the best games (BY MOBILE STANDARDS) because this was supposed to be a mobile game. It doesn’t live up to its name because of what it was supposed to live up to. Had this of been the first game i think people would have loved it, but since it was a game that people were expecting to be as good as the first, it flopped. This is just my opinion.
This game is a large disappointment. The idea looks fun - until devs span saws in each pixel of the level without any indication and destructing all your planned combos. There was demo, we said these issues - but nothing was changed at the release =\
Personally, I think the auto-runner aspect of the game was meant to represent how Meat Boy and Bandage Girl would never stop in their tracks trying to get their baby back
Pretty funny stream, i can't say i wasn't surprised by some answers, like the hardest college subject and none of the answers mention geography or history is ... against the rules of logic XD. Either way i had a fun time and hope you will do more streams on dumb games.
