@@fishing_fam84 both spots ..and i was wondering if you can park on Martinez Street that’s a little more south with all those streets next the river . Where it seems to be a boat ramp can we park there ?

The first spot is lake livingstone damn. Anyone can park there but it is a $10 parking fee. It's a very heavily fished spot. And same goes for the 2nd spot. It's open to the public but without a parking fee.

I'm using 80lb braid (reaction tackle) from Amazon. Color is sea blue. It's a very strong braid for the price. I've pulled some big fish in with. Very happy with the quality.

@fishing_fam84 Down here on the coast we joke that every toilet in Dallas flushes into the Trinity River and ends up here in Trinity Bay. Makes good fishing.

I wouldn't doubt it lol I've heard people say not to eat fish out of the trinity. But I've cooked up a lot of fish caught from it.

I use a 6 to 8oz no roll sinker when I can find them that heavy. They work well in heavy current like this.
