If they can manipulate the MJO to stay in a phase favoring warm weather for populated areas of the planet by enhancing convection in certain areas near the equator, then the jet stream and it's positioning is being controlled.

Yikes! Do you have any teeth left?? Those are ridiculously crappy roads!! Sounded like your rig was being ripped apart. And dangerously narrow. I remember the Cairo/Missouri Bridge across the Mississippi River from my childhood going down into the very SE lower boothill of Missouri to visit family around Sikeston and Dexter. Bridges always freaked my mom out. I'd sit in the back seat just looking out the window.. Seems like a whole other lifetime ago....
Your right it sounds like his truck is getting torn apart by the joints in the two bridges when he hit the joints on the bridges and his video camera is bouncing all over the place.
Just a heads up its Tahquitz (tah•quit•s) i spent a lot of time as scout in idyllwild and have heard many legends of Tahquitz. Definitely a story to be heard
