If you black soot the mould and the eye rod, it acts as a non stick. to get the soot, get a candle and hold the flame on the mould and the area will blacken with soot.

The cart works best closer to centre. Placing it under the seat works best for me. I'm using bungee straps. To stop it from going off track in rough terrain it's going to need a second strap. You also have it on backwards.
