To connect a external screen for visualizer you need to connect the Victory 3 to a Ethernet hub via Victory 3's Artnet port. Then connect a PC or Laptop to the hub via ethernet. Next go into the settings on the Victory 3 and enable Artnet. Hit setup-Network Settings to view and set a IP address, subnet and gateway. Then you can use your visualizer.
hi! the honeycomb directs the light to a subject and prevents the light to spill at the background, try using it that way and you will see what they meant by creating shadows, good review thanks alot
@@kevinswan8311 You can but it ruins a perfectly good Ethernet cable, just in case you want to uninstall the Ethercon connector. If you have a cheap Ethernet cable you could but mine are costly because of their run length.
Would you be able to remove the clamps on the bottom and easily replace it with unistrut mounts? Are the bolts that hold the clamps on standard mounting hardware size?
@@lebraun12345 Yes the S711 Buddha has a slot and lock gobo system to accept glass gobos. You can customize them through gobo vendors. I have a video showing V-Show's slot and lock system here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uHctj-0gvNA.htmlsi=82_kdINlbpKItDk4 The S711 has a 23mm outer dimension gobo with a 17mm inner dimension. They are marked as OD/ID
@@user-bm8ys3pd6r you hold down the power button on the wireless remote and then hit the button once on the fog machine. If it's not turning on at all the 18650 is dead or needs charged. Sometimes the 18650 will die if left uncharged for a long period of time. They can be brought back to life by using a 18650 battery charger not the charger built into the FILMOG.
So the Artnet node has eight dmx-512 3-pin connectors on the back and I want to access them from the front so I created a pass or feed through. The Artnet node converts a single Artnet 4 signal and properly addresses each of the eight universes contained in each of the dmx ports on the back. When you mount a node to a flight case the ports are on the back and are hard to access so it's better to access them from the front.
@@TheatricallyJerry I see that, I’m exited!! I the twist dial was a very quick way to get around the menus however I would take a real ArtNet node functionality any day. The old model I had just did not hold dmx packets unless something was being sent constantly and it was really not good. I was about to buy a different brand of ArtNet node until I saw they updated the design. I wasn’t going to purchase unless I knew it was a legit node which is how I found your vid :). I’ll make a video on it as well.
@@Hunterbonnar it definetly takes Artnet and sends it to the 8 ports. The dmx ports can also be set as either in or out. There's also two ethernet or ethercon connectors as well. It works for what I use it for which is to control 4096 channels of DMX for stage.
The zoom is fine it's just not as wide on the wide end like with the S712 they are two different fixtures and ones much cheaper. It is however a perfect match with the S712 if you want to compliment each other. Thanks for the info.
Please release part 2 already! I wanna see it in action. Im curious to see what the beam looks like. 6 degrees isnt that tight but i think there are beam reducers gobos on it to make it tighter? I bought 2 s712 already!
A 6 degree beam angle is extremely tight for a 3 in 1. There are static Gobos that can make it even smaller as well as reducers for open or the circular beam.
I mean it makes sense that it shows each battery charge cause not all batteries are same and its good to know which one is good and which one isnt! I think its amazing! I dont know why I went with the Lensgo hand held smoker... I mean I looked on Amazon and that one popped up first and I had already ordered it but than later on I saw this one and it reminds me of the Genie that costs 700 dollars and to be honest I like this ulanzi one much better. Its more sophisticated and I even think its built nicer! It def looks nicer and its only a 100 which is just as much as I paid for the lensgo cause the lensgo was on sale. Normaly its 128 but I actually paid 90 for it so im gonna return it and get this one instead. I really really like this one! The lensgo's tank is also leaking and I dont like that at all. Im assuming this tank is solid and isnt leaking im hoping but it just looks nicer and better built! Maybe you can tell me if you had issues with the tank leaking before I order one! Thanks!
Zero tank leaks, I have had the tank filled for over two months now and it has spilled a drop. The tanks are real glass and metal lids with a rubber stopper to fill the fog solution.
It kind of makes sense and kind of doesn't. I mean I could have lived with just one battery percentage that averaged both batteries or a flashing symbol to tell you a battery is bad. They could have used that Real Estate for other information like the voltage going to the atomizer or incorporating a sensor to tell you how much fluid is left in the tank. But I get what you are saying.
@@TheatricallyJerry Yeah the one I bought also has a glas tank with metal top and bottom but for some reason I dont think its that good even though it looks extremely solid. I like the Ulanzi one much better!
You have to either have the images already on a laptop or PC and put them on a USB drive or make your own. The console will not automatically generate images, there's none stored on board the controller. Then you have to manually assign them.
Is the USB drive formatted correctly? It's supposed to be FAT32 or it won't work. The system is based off Linux and it can't handle NTFS. You need to be updated to the latest firmware to make sure everything is running smoothly.
@@TheatricallyJerry Atomizer I believe it's called. Whatever holds the fluid.. I already sent ti back. I usually love Ulanzi items, and I understand no one is perfect. It isn't a big deal.
I do believe sometime next week I recieve a new unit to review from Becen so stay tuned to my channel for a full review on their latest light fixtures. I also have a review coming up this week featuring a 450w light.
Press setup and then console manage button. The option to set the master faders function key to blackout is available under console manage. You also need to update to the latest firmware for this to take effect.
@@TheatricallyJerry I actually have a Fos designer 2048 console, which is identical to Code victory 3. I don't know who copied who ;) I have the latest available firmware 3.2.7 and under the master options I have: grandmaster and speed, so it confuses me a bit. Thank you very much for your answer, and I'm also wondering if you know if there are any significant differences between these two consoles?
Hi, I have another question if you can help me. I have the entire first page of faders programmed. When I program each subsequent page and leave the fader on it active, when returning to the first page, when I lower that same fader, what was programmed on the other page turns off. Do you know if it is possible to program it in such a way that the fader remains active until I physically lower it on another page
To record a macro show you need to have the timecode window open. It's available when you select a empty workspace window. Once open there's a button on the lower left of the timecode window that says New. Once selected a option will show up displaying the show number and mode of the show. You can select it and choose from three timecode options: Internal Clock -MIDI MTC or Internal Music. After you select the timecode mode, hit apply. Then you press the record button and start using faders and your presets, whatever you press on the console is recorded automatically in the Macro show. Once finished hit release or clear and the record button again. The show can now be played back by pressing the play button. I can also make a video tutorial if that interests you as recording Macro Shows is more of a intermediate tutorial.
You do realize most of the components on moving head lights are made in China right, so I'm not sure why it needs pointed out. Also LED drivers are notorious for going out including the PSU. Even american light companies get their components from overseas they are just assembled here... That aside, you can get components by opening the fixture, looking at the PSU and finding the manufacturers name or the model of the PSU and googling the name.
You select the fixture so it's highlighted and then hit edit label on the menu bar and then picture. You have to have your own picture of it on a thumb drive. Select the picture and hit import on the selected picture and then enter.
Hello, We need part 4, where would you open the lids of this device and show everyone how poorly this example of Chinese engineering is made) What LED chip is installed, what power source does it have, all masters already know that Chinese manufacturers economically install LEDs of lower power in order to earn more they increase its power due to a more powerful power supply unit, and such a head only works for a couple of years...
It has a OSRAM and also 99% of fixtures are made overseas the US isn't big on manufacturing if you haven't noticed. I believe maybe ETC makes some things here but not sure on fixtures. Even then most of the parts are purchased overseas and assembled in the US. I'm not sure where the stereotype of Chinese products being bad came from. There are of course bad Chinese products but there are also bad American made products its the luck of the draw. I'm also not too concerned on quality for a fixture in this price range. If it does what it's supposed to do and does it well, I have no problem with it. Thanks for viewing my channel😊
@@TheatricallyJerry We have the IMRELAX version of this light, and we have 4 of them at my church! They are OUTSTANDING and have been a blast to work with!!!
Glad to hear! Yes I have had zero issues with these fixtures, I have also torn them apart and they are built quite well. I plan on doing more reviews on other CMY fixtures soon. Thanks for following!
Mostly by the included user guide and hours of figuring out how o wanted it to do what I needed it to do. It's a rather user friendly system but can get more advanced with it's effects generator, cues, cue lists, MIDI, wireless control and timecode/music player built in.
Unfortunately all these issues points to the conclusion that this machine is full of Safety hazards, that's why is unavailable in many countries because they didn't pass the quality certifications / regulatory standards. The plastic tip begins to melt under 4-5 minutes on continous run. Not having it Equity Approved makes this a Deal breaker for all stages. Worst of all, they just permanently stopped selling their own liquid, it's removed as a product and not out of stock, that's quite ridiculous.
Absolute BS. You must be from the competition. None of the issues you have named are valid. As well, Ulanzi has posted the exact formula/ratio on how to make their fog fluid. You must be from the SmokeNINJA camp of jealous sales reps...lololol.
