When I started this channel in early 2019, it was simple disc golf videos geared for kids, beginners, or anyone wanting to learn more about the game through my perspective. It has evolved into way more than I could have planned, with interviews, tips, and inside info to get you as much additional disc golf content possible. And... if you're still reading this, thanks for the support as I’m trying to see if I have what it takes to make the pro tour in the next couple years! PDGA #117680 www.patreon.com/discgolfkid
Luke, it's been a while since I checked you out. Cool to see you are playing with pro's in the World's !! Congrats ! Your drives look good as ever and far enough for a pro. Must be around 500 feet ? But your putting isn't pro level yet and needs work from 30 feet on. (Easy for me to say I know, and your putting is still much better than I ever did !). Also you had a few wood shots that hit early trees. Wood holes are always tough though, but top pro's seem to find an alley through it much of the time. I don't know how they do it. I've seen McBeth hit tree's too though, so I'm sure everyone does. Anyways thanks for posting this. It was fun to watch !
3 years ago when I filmed this, most disc golfers didn’t. If you did that’s great, but my viewers (especially back then) were mostly newer players like myself at that time
@@DiscGolfKid Ok, but if you think people don't know him, you don't need to say that. Just go ahead with the introduction. Because otherwise it might seem insulting to someone that's been around so long and contributed so much to the sport, but Stokely being the classy guy that he is certainly wouldn't show it outright.
Just found this existed… Haven’t played in a while used to play Castlehayne all the time. Literally, I’m like a mile away from this place and didn’t even know about it.
We used the UDisc app, then confirmed by walking it off - but honestly we also realized the football field is 300’ from goal line to goal line (100 yds) plus 30’ each endzone, so having the 360’ total benchmark also confirmed UDisc was spot on…
There's some older dude in California who's in his late 60's that supposedly bombs a Big Bead Aviar to 500 feet on level ground 🤷. I kinda think it's BS, however he had like 8 people and three of which were definitely credible dudes backing his claim on the thread 🤷. I really wish i could find the old DGCR thread and reread the whole dumpster fire over again, it was absolutely hilarious to read 😂. If anyone reading this remembers what I'm talking about, 🙏please help me find it so i can read it again 👍.
Dave came from the B.S.M. years of disc golf: Before Social Media. People were much more likely to share tips with each other at the end of the round. It is nice to see he hasn't changed much: a super serious competitor on the course, and a class act after the round is done.
I’m watching the preview show now on DGN. Didn’t know you were the DGK until the end but I remember watching one of your videos years ago. Congrats! Stoked for you. Good luck and I’ll say hey if I see you out there from the other side of the ropes
