Hi my name is Kate Lewis and it’s been way too long since I changed my RU-vid bio….I’m not 19 anymore I am 22 and can I still call myself a showjumper even though I got decked at 90cm the other day?…probably not. I have 22 horses and the most social life I have is when I catch myself in the mirror for a second when I get in at 1am from the yard and I look so haggered I mistake myself for a different person. My horses are: Nero Evie Harriet Madge Ziggy Cassanova Bob Dreamer Timmy Tiffin Macey Roo Mist Tiny Diddy Dolly Dottie Bobby Blue Poppy Skippy Carly This Channel will allow me to embarrass myself on a global scale because just embarrassing myself infront of family and friends just isn’t good enough anymore. My videos will either make you laugh, cry, or print my face off and stick it to a dartboard but I hope I can occasionally entertain you guys when I occasionally actually post when I say I’m going to. For business inquiries please email me: askingkatelewis@gmail.com
i was looking a bit at Nero's body language during the video, he looked like he was more sore in the back than excited. i'm going of the constant tail swishing and when you said, the higher the jumps the more he bucks. When he does buck, it looks like its at something more than just out there. i'm not say he was in pain but it does look like it in those clips of him.
first Hi again. It was so nice when this video showed up in my feed. I get to visit some of my favorite horse friends and maybe make some new ones. Thanks for the update.
Hi there, I'm not sure what the living situation is like for your horses. If not done already, I highly recommend the horses be out for atleast 12 hours a day with friends in the same paddock. Generally speaking, horses should not be this tense and explosive.
I appreciate your advice and normally at this time of year our horses would be living out 24/7 however they’re only out for a few hours a day currently due to the flooding we only have 1 viable field. Not sure where you’re based but in the UK we’ve had the wettest winter in 150 years so it’s been less than ideal with our 15acres 2ft under water. Carly was this fresh because she’d been clipped the day before not ridden for a week then jumped on a wet and windy day😂 there’s nothing wrong with her we just only had this opportunity as the weather during the prior week and the next one was so dangerous to ride in (50+mph winds and heavy rain)☺️
@@BlobTheCob Okay sounds like you're doing the best you can with the weather. I'm in Southern Africal so it's mostly hot. Whenever the horses are stabled they go insane 🙈Thanks for responding 🙏❤️
So sorry Kate! ❤❤ Horses know and accept life and death in a different way..... I know cause I had two mares that was that close to each other..... and had to put one down. She was in a lot of pain and when she was put down the other one kind of relaxed? Like she had peace? Can't explain it any better..... 😔😔 She handled the situation much better than I did, that's for sure! ❤❤❤ Horses just meen that much to us!!!
