This is not good. Doing so will keep the grip property of the seal from working properly and get the pistons back in after breaking. This will result in pads rubbing on the discs
Still on my Arktos ST. Best MTB I’ve ever rode and owned. She still turns heads on the trails and I still get questions about her. I bumped the front travel up to 150 a little while back. It did change the ride characteristics some, definitely handled the chunky stuff better, but it just didn’t seem as nimble and fun. I lack the proper vocabulary to accurately describe my riding experiences, but I know what I like based on how the ride feels. I will be going back down to 140 in the front. Bike was perfect before I messed with it.
Who are these people who come to whistler to walk around a ski village in the summer??? Wtf is there to do for them? They are the biggest npc's ever and basically juat get in the way.
Crazy how much mtbs would change in the next few years. To call 2.35" tires fat, 68 degree slack and 27lbs steel ht heavy... Today it's average to narrow tire, steep ha and quite light for steel ht. Though, even at that time, I don't think it's a mystery who would want a bike like this. In fact, I would have said most people or your average mtber is the target. Someone who just wants to go mountain biking for fun but have options to go bike packing etc.
