This is a perfect video to find peace and stillness in. Reminds me of many of nights at Port Glascoe in Ontario Canada having fires down at the beach until the morning hours.
Well, this is definitely an example of the term, 'that escalated quickly.' Seriously, we went from zero to 'burning city and zombies everywhere' right after hitting play. This is like the bad end to some poor guy who went the Rick Grimes route to the apocalypse, but wasn't so lucky to be protected by a chained up set of doors to his wing of the hospital.
I enjoyed this! One suggestion. You should try animating the photo to make the fires or smoke move. There are plenty of apps that will do this and help reduce screen burn on screens using older technology. Thanks for this!
I appreciate the subtlety of this ambience video. It really takes a while for the zombie sounds to come and the fact you don’t see any of them forces the imagination to work and wonder where they are.
I really love the radio sounds but the zombie sounds are Wierd bcs there mostly the same and repeating and not fitting for tbe photo you have but it is a really good idea again
Hawkins had become a war zone since the outbreak. The heat burned against Mike's skin as he fought exhaustion and the dead to escape to safer ground. El had lost consciousness in the blaze and now rested in his arms as he hurried through. Up ahead was the Bronco and a clear path to safety if reached in time. With his last ounce of strength, he crashed through the only doors that were not yet smoldering and into the cool night. There were hundreds of dead milling around, attracted by the commotion of the burning Melvold's. The only thing left to do was get out of the graveyard that was once his home town.
You wake up, disoriented, in a hospital room, you were being put on a comatose state, because of Covid-19 complications, you stare at the window, everything is destroyed to ashes, you see a door...
What you was saying is almost like the opening sequence to The Day Of The Triffids (by John Wyndham, but asteroids was also used in opening premise of the novel,no zombies though).
Such a beautiful set up. This is where I imagine myself after a long day at work. Hot drink and a great book next to you makes it feel like a warm and cozy dream. Thank you for sharing this. Love it.
