you do not have to take the tank all the way out to change the pump! it takes me 14 min to change a pump on a mustang 2001. but for the life of me i can not figure out way my mustang does not start on its own. if i use starter fluid it runs fine with no problem.
After replacing my fuel pump, it took 4 hours to re-install the tank (I did it by myself using jack stands and 2 jacks) and all went well except the fuel gauge quit working after a few days when I gassed up again. I had to repair the wire to the float assembly before re-installing everything but I might not have done as good a job as I thought. Can the fuel hat and pump assembly be removed without completely removing the tank (can it be dropped just enough to remove the hat bolts and pull out the assembly)? I want to avoid taking the tank completely off if possible.
Excellent video. Perfect narration. Clear camera work. Very thorough and understandable. I appreciate your recap at the end. This will make my brake pad job much easier. Thanks!!!
QUESTION: At 3:59 to 4 Minutes, and 1 second (into the video), when pulling the Rotor, SOMETHING POPPED. the caliper lies on that. in the video - towards the end, re-assemblying, i didn't see how you put that one back? any help? SERIOUSLY GREAT, EDUCATIVE video. adding just the last part of putting everything back together SCORES a 10/10.
I made the mistake of removing the parking brake cable from the lever that attaches to the brake shoe. I can’t get the spring back enough to get the lever back on. Any help??
Are you just resetting it or turning it off? Will service engine soon light come back on in the future if there is a real problem that needs to be addressed?plz lmk or if anyone randomly reading this knows lmk ty
What type of scanner can I use to determine which door is open? I checked the driver's door but everything is ok and I don't want to check them one by one
these old cars have it easy. the new ones are a nightmare. the little temp control boxes have plastic gears inside them, and they are hell to get to depending on the car. i miss the simplicity of older cars.
