I bought one of these juicers used for $20 yesterday the filter was "tarnished" but I also notice that water would sit on the filter instead of running through it. I looked at trusty you tube and your video cam up. It worked so well it looks new just like yours. I also put all the parts in a 5 gallon bucket, even the catch buckets. now the whole juicer looks new. The filter needs a few more hours but I did a pre scrub after a few hours in the water last night and it already looked new. This same thing also applies to your dryer lint filter. I just use soap and water but it also gets clogged up this same way and needs cleaned every now an again. Thanks so much for your video!!!!!!
Thank youuu!!!!!! This worked like a charm. I knew something was wrong when my pulp was more and more "juicy", like the filter wasn't doing a great job. I had no idea there was a layer of film clogging the fine mesh. I used this method for some of the other parts too, including the plastic items (soaked and then washed with a Dobie sponge instead of the steel wool), which cleaned up beautifully also. Really appreciate your video, saved me from buying a replacement filter at $70!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’ve been trying to figure out how to get the fruit that was stuck in the mesh for the longest and didn’t think to use the Brillo pad
After trying several other suggestions that I found on RU-vid, I just tried this on my very mineral covered Omega juicer. I left the juicer parts soaking overnight and the minerals all came off with gentle cleaning. I'm going for my Blender next. Thank you so much!
Omg I thought my juicer was ruined, I let a family member borrow mine and my screen is smfilthy now. Going to get my juicer out of storage to try this, so excited!!
I used on the screen and catch container and it worked great. Someone here said the soaked all juicer parts in the OxiClean. I read OxiClean isn't good for some metals. Its ii safe to do this.?
This worked amazingly!! was super cool but pretty gross when all the gunk lifted off lol. Thank you for the video! I was about to buy a new filter, but not anymore🙌
To blast out those tiny bits of "debris" stuck in between layers of your filter use a WaterPik. That's what I use on my COKPAPA Stainless Cold Brew Filter, and it works so well. Just fill the WaterPik with very very hot soapy water or your Oxyclean
