Picked up my Z330 R about a month ago. Just clocked the six hour mark a few. I have to say that this is the best mower I have ever had. Currently I’m using it for my 2.1 acre plot and it has cut my mowing timedown to about one hour from previously a 2 1/2-three hour job.
No, the only option would be to use ConnectMobile on the iPad and visually monitor the varieties as you spray. For more information or any other questions, please contact the C & B Support Center: deerequipment.com/solutions/support-center/
ProFinish is essentially a marketing term for the harrow/rolling basket options on the backs of newer John Deere tillage tillage tools, like the 2230 Field Cultivator
Sorry to hear that. Two recommendations: 1.) Try turning your machine off, wait for the display to shut off, then unplug the display for 30+ seconds. Plug back in and start up - see if the license says yes 2.) If the cold boot in #1 doesn’t fix it - give our support center a call at 507-200-3060. Have the serial number of your display handy (located on the back of the display), they can look up the display and if necessary help you reactivate the activation if it is available
The one really nice feature of the platform on the older models is that it allowed us to store tools & other items in case they were needed. I'm not seeing any storage capability for tools or spare parts for this new design. How do you access the hatch on the tank now? Also, seem like it would be a better design if the side fill was able to tuck underneath the frame a little past the ladder, similar to the front fill. Is the front fill integrated with a strainer now? My sts12 only has strainers AFTER it goes thru the pump & towards the boom ( plugged up my agitation..... wasn't fun crawling into the tank to run wire backwards thru the jets to unplug them.) We custom apply alot; is the tread adjustment hydraulics still weak? Very inconvenient that ive basically have to be empty all the time to adjust when im running the same mix but row spacing changes between 30 to 36 in rows.
Yes! Similar to Deere machine controls, if you press (and hold) the fold button on the back of the hydro handle - then press the left or right boom up/down buttons - this will allow you to fold individual boom sections without using the Autofold function for the entire boom
How do I disable it and just use gps? I have the planter A/B in but toggled off and still won't steer because it wants to use row sense which my head doesn't have.
Hi Paul - if you are using a Gen4 monitor (4600 / 4240 / 4640) you open the guidance window, then select the top of the page where the arrow pointing up is at. On this advanced settings page there is an option to turn on or off the ‘RowSense’ master. This could vary depending on the model of combine you are in however. If this doesn’t work please let us know and we can guide you in the right direction
Displaysimulator.Deere.com is a great resource for learning displays while not in the field. Best experience is on a larger screen (computer/tablet). Can work on your phone, but is a bit crowded
I’m supposed to get one this spring and can’t wait. Being able to see out of the cab when folded is a game changer. I can’t wait to get rid of the walk way and not have drag my lunch box through a chemical covered machine. I do wish it had a rear fill and not the front or side fill because getting on my next pass and backing up taking my load and ready to go is nice.
Completely agree with the rear fill - talking with factory reps it sounds like it will be a feature/option that they will be offering again in the near future. Hopefully your machine comes in plenty of time - I know I enjoyed all the acres I helped put on this machine. -Nate
Yes! If you have the variety locator file created and on the display it will switch between any of the varieties that were originally planted in the field automatically
Saw this at the farm show today. Absolutely hate it. 2 ladders? On opposite sides of the machine? What happened to the walkway? Side fill on the front ladder? How, do you have to fold up to get access to it or have a ridiculously long hose? Hydraulic hoses fucking everywhere. How much does this over engineered monstrosity weigh? Love our hagie and it looks like I'll do every thing I can to make sure I don't have to replace it with this.
