Hello. So I have a question. Ghired + 2x beast token = 10 power. Triumph of the Hordes (+ 3 more power) was discarded. Why? Lucas was tapped out, Colin had only colorless mana available and only one 1/1 blocker. Thank you for you answer.
@46:34 On Throwdown Thursday, Big Papa Darian told us to look out for a suppressed reaction to a certain stax-y enchantment hitting the field... he did't say anything about John's blatantly telegraphed reaction to a value artifact being utilized! Priceless! <3's thank you as always for the laughs 💙🌭
Also, for Brilliant Restoration, if it follows the same rulings as Replenish (return all enchantments from your graveyard to the battlefield): Auras can only be placed on permanents that were on the battlefield before this effect started to resolve. You can’t put an enchantment onto the battlefield with Replenish and put an Aura that is also entering the battlefield onto one of those enchantments. (2005-08-01) You must return Auras if possible, even if this means enchanting an opponent’s permanent with a good enchantment. (2005-08-01) So, the Eidolon of Blossoms would return, but the auras would've had to go on someone else's creatures, not on it.
OK, my chilly dude John caught it, but my point still stands ;-) Burgeoning does NOT trigger off fetched lands or any other "put onto the battlefield" effects (like cultivate), rather ONLY on PLAYED lands (for turn). Such that, if you have, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove or Exploration, you may PLAY an additional land per turn. Both of those landfalls would trigger a burgeoning, however if you played fetches for both of those lands, and immediately cracked them, an opponents' burgeoning would trigger twice, not 4 times... Now, as i have clearly demonstrated my superiority in the enchantress archetype, please to be letting me play any of my enchantment decks on stream! Ruling directly from Burgeoning's Gatherer page: Playing a land will trigger it, but putting a land onto the battlefield as part of an effect will not. (2004-10-04)
Sorry i keep missing the streams fam, love and miss you fuckers. Now, for the razzing... if you bastards EVER have another PW playing enchantress that's not me... we're breaking up! ;-) Also, chat replay isn't coming up today?! Weird!
There's another skit/parody idea for the brainstorm book.., instead of Mr. Brownstone, you do Mr. Brownsleeves it's still about heroin, but this time Cardboard heroin! ;-) "you don't wanna meet brownsleeves"... no truer words have ever been uttered. sorry i've been absent again. had a death in the family and some heavy shit come down directly after. miss you all and hope to be back soon. < 3's - 💙🌭
Side note: i completely forgot that the other title of the "christian/christmas" song i've known as "What Child is This" was Greensleeves... (and didn't understand where the initial conversation about the new commander started until it dawned on me that THAT was the song playing in the BG)... like, i'm not mad that it has somehow morphed into a GnR cover about mtg though lol
Ugh, why did i do this to myself?! My commander costs about seven With the tax, its now nine I don't cast no cyc. rifts Cause wipin' the board's a waste of my time My life total's down to like seven just got infected for nine Blightsteel will hit me for eleven Bawa's unblockable this time We've been slangin with mr brownsleeves He's been rampin' He won't stay in the zone no, no, no, He won't stay in the zone
Also, ive been meaning to ask... in the moss gang logo, there's some moss, a "crypts" bandana, and something else under those things... what is the bottom (grey-ish) layer?! a cornucopia, a shrimp? i have been trying to figure it out for weeks! lol. Thanks as always for the amazing content and entertainment.
Oh the times they are a'changin'... When i was young... front man just meant "the lead vocalist/guitarist in a band" But if your version of front man was flicking his pick in front of an audience... it would prob be a much different show entirely! ;-) bummed i had to miss the live stream again... ya know, if i were the PW i wouldn't be able to skip it 😜?! <3's - 💙🌭
