Gunship does NOT have to stay near its tower. Have personally been chased to the opposite side of map by a pair of em'. While on the subject, killing the tower does not deactivate any active gunships. Happy hunting fellow Patriots <3
Its a mix of fact and fiction. Gunships spawn from the tower and once its gone it stops them, just like the shriekers, so it highlights the importance of destroying that tower. In terms of having to stay close to the tower i dont say how close. The edge of the map is how far they can go ive been chased there too, but they cant fly in like dropships so they are limited to the map size. I write the news shows by spinning fact as if the ministry of ttruth was curating it so they would tell "a truth", but not necessarily "the truth". I'd also like to note I didnt really trick automaton sympathisers into telling the automatons helldivers we're split and uncoordinated :D
bruh these are insane you get swarmed by like 30 instakill homing missile bugs that are constantly respawing, are difficult to hit and can take up to 2 hellbombs to clear out if you don't have the 500kg
