Happy to see it seems like devs are listening quickly. Wasnt too interested in qingyi when seeing her in the story for the first time since yuan stole the spotlight but after seeing her combat I'll pull. Seth is surprisingly really cool too but I hope they dont gimp his dps cuz he's a defense character
In terms of game design, anything related with gacha sucks whether it be HSR, ZZZ, genshin, wuwa, pgr p5x and the like. A gacha game with a more simpler gameplay elements/ mechanics are only slightly better because it doesn't hinder or strip much gameplay mechanics/ elements. I'll give credits to where its due in terms of art, animation and graphics but that's all. Sure it looks good, but as a game I don't think so., I've played a bunch of them to give it the benefit of the doubt, even enjoyed some of them a little but it all just makes the problems more apparent and it always have a common point. Locking gameplay elements with gacha mechanics, characters & skills, gameplay elements, mechanics, progression, energy syste, etc, and with such stripped down gameplay which gacha games with "more gameplay mechanics" have which makes it stagnant in the long run, smaller indie games that arent gacha are overall more better games compared to these kinds, heck even ps2 games are way more better. To make things worse, more and more just follow suit instead of making an actual game that isn't gacha. If only they've made ACTUAL full fledged games or something without gacha it would be an entirely different story. I wouldn't say anything to you if you're having fun the game, sure go and have fun. But criticizing the game for its flaws, problems and how it affects games and how they're developed shouldnt be a bad thing either especially if people just want actual decent/ good games.
I don't know. Now that the game has been out for a couple of months, I feel like it's going to start losing most of its free to play players. It doesn't do that many events nor does it give out as much of the premium currency like ZZZ and genshin do, which sucks cause it has a good story... I just lose interest in it when I feel like there is little to no opportunity to get new characters.
watching your reaction just made me realize how good the old man's voice is, like he actually sounds like... dying. and that in itself kind of made me tear up as to how good that voice acting is.
based take. tbh i agree with some criticism but i love this game more than other hoyoverse games so far just because the characters are more expressive and actually different personality most of the time. feels like they are going to go bolder with the story and execution this time. i also hope they continue to do EP for every new character, just like other game like arknight. vocal music for story in gacha games hits hard. this give me good ole honkai impact nostalgia, especially the good part on part 1 (imo the later chapters, after otto arc and chapter 2 have too much technobabble, and suffers same thing as HSR atm, too much big picture, characters own story is rarely delved into)
Love the finesse and acrobatics and HOLY they know what they're doing with the angles 😂 Music so good too, persona vibes and 6:30 reminds me a bit of kpop too I would pull IF I DIDNT HAVE TO SAVE EVERYTHING FOR MIYABI PAUSE
Yunli ultimate reminds me a lot of sabers exchalibur. When the Collab popped up we see a half destroyed planet interesting. I'll do a 10 pull for fun but then save for lingsha
