Wouldn’t your Air 3 have been better suited for this mission with the better wind resistance and battery life? There was a weird glitch that blocked the altitude on the video I watched, maybe contact YT support 👍. Also what’s with the 2 mics? Always interesting, thanks for posting.
@@waymor2460 I was out fishing when I got the call and only had my mini 3 pro with me. One mic for screen recording on the remote, one for camera. Ended up using the sound from remote anyway.
@@glennmcneil1673 if you have software that will merge photos, you can capture portrait (vertical) photos that overlap and merge them so you can increase the resolution of your photo. I know that the drone does panoramas by merging photos automatically, and that may be the easiest way. Good luck with your next mission.

Yeah, I am nervous about buying another DJI drone, not real comfortable with the future of DJI here in the U.S. It really sucks about all the regulations from politicians that don't know or give a crap about drones or the hobby. For those that want to get high, there is no altitude restriction for sub 250's in Canada- reckless behavior rule applies though so you have to choose the location wisely.
I'm starting to think it has more to do with huge companies wanting a monopoly on delivery drones and less to do with selling American made drones. They don't want us pesky hobbyists flying drones for fun.
I hear ya Glenn on the rant, after the last few years, lets just say i now have a very different view and opinion of things in our country and now find myself questioning everything weve been taught and led to believe .
If this happens then the Canadian public will be screwed on owning/flying drones. Any Law Enforcement or any other first responders will of course be exempt from and possible changes....
I am in the US so I am concerned about it. From what I understand if you own a DJI drone when it is in effect you can still fly it however you will not be able to buy new DJI items. It will take months to go through the Senate then onto President Bidens Desk to sign which I am sure he will It is part of a large defense bill. I am not naive enough to think our politicians care about us the people, yet we keep electing them. Nothing we can do about it I would just stock up on all the DJI stuff before the ban goes into effect. Keep em Flying
The ban is the combination of ambitious hack politicians and greedy corporate lobbyists. Combined with money money money and you create a bill meant to stifle innovation.
